You can't wear a tip jar, you have to rez it.

You can wear any old thing and call it a tip jar, it doesn't even need a script. When somebody right clicks on your attachments and picks pay, the money goes straight to your avatar, just like if they right-clicked your body.

You only need to have a separate thing rezzed if you want it to be pay on left click, or to split tips, etc.

I see on your profile you like looking for ways to generate income. 

Wearing a tip jar around is the same thing as begging unless  you are actively working someplace providing a service and even then its an aggressively crass way of demanding people to tip.  I wouldn't tip you as a result.  I will however tip you if you are doing a good job, even if you have no tip jar.

If you aren't wearing it while working somewhere, don't be surprised if you get told to remove it or even ejected without warning.  Most, if not all, places only allow tip jars for employees.
