countryboy509
Ok i built most of the house and when i try to export it. it exports the whole house. is there a way i can just do piece by piece from the build or do i have to rebuild it and do it piece by piece? jwenting
if you have it made in Blender as multiple objects, you can select each separate and on the export page/dialog there's a checkbox to "export only selected". If you made it as a single object, you're going to have to rebuild it in several pieces.
Aquila Kytori
Hi 1: IN Edit Mode select the part of the mesh that you want to upload as a separate piece . 2: Use the short cut key P to bring up the Separate menu and choose Selection. 3: Tab into Object Mode and with only the newly separated piece selected press M to move that piece to a separate layer. You don't have to do this but there are advatages in keeping different meshes on separate layers , like for example I always create my physics mesh on the layer directly below the layer with the mesh on it . countryboy509
hmmm neither doenst work i do the P method and when i get it in preview in sl the whole thing is still coming through. but all i have is one wall selected and in a different layer. Does it matter if its textured already and unwrapped. textured and unwrapped the pieces as i went.
