Second lifre freeses and crashes at initializing vfs

OK I have tried several fresh installs several manual cache clears updated graphics drivers reinstalled sp3 any ideas it will get to initializing vfs and fezze and then crash please help update i just followed the steps to do a clean uninstall and re install nothing changed it starts gets to initializing vfs looks like its going to load the crash logger opens no matter what opton i select it just freezes and sits there wont open and i have to ctrl alt delete it any ideas??????????

Clearing cache manually will usually clear a VFS problem.  If it doesn't, the next step is to wipe your user settings. That will clear all of your preference settings, among other things, but it should also clear the problem.

Just as a long shot before you try that...  If you are running on a Windows system, click the speaker icon in the system tray, then touch the volume slider, just enough to change the volume slightly. It may be that the Windows sound system has stalled; this should “give it a kick”.

If absolutely nothing works, you will need to do a clean re-install of your SL viewer.
