My avatar's face sometimes looks angry, other times it looks fine. What's going on?

I suspect it's a trick of the light.  When you TP from one sim to another, you very often find that it's a different time of day, or that you are at least facing a different direction.  When the sun hits you at a different angle you get new shadows (not always flattering ones, especially at mid-day).  Facial expressions are otherwise pretty wooden.  They are fixed by the way the skin designer drew them.  The only way you can change a facial expression is by calling a script that activates one of a small set of internal animations, usually built into an AO or some other attachment.

Would you look angry AND a bit blurry? That can happen when wearing alpha layers+mesh and teleporting to other places. If this is the case, pressing Ctrl+alt+R (several times if necessary) should fix it.

But I can understand you: some sims are really so ugly you sure have a reason to look pi$$ed. :D
