Vampire Progeny on sim.

We have had this vampire clan on our sim. The Bloodlines garlic necklace doesn't seem to work.

How can we protect our emplyees?

The HUD they use is pretty sneaky and one of our models got fed on.

How did your model get fed on, and how did she or he realise that this had happened?   Please use "Edit" to give further and better particulars of how this works.

I really dont get it. Even if it were possible for a vampire to steal blood by stealth, it wouldn't do any actual harm to an avatar. Can no one just ignore minor irritations?

How is the HUD "sneaky?" What does it say?

As far as I know, the "vampire" HAS to send a message asking for consent. It's possible that this message can be reworded, or that the "vampires" are tricking your employees by chatting with them, offering to send them something, but actually sending over a bite request. Advise your employees not to accept anything from anyone they don't know. (This is generally good avice, anyway.)

If you can get ahold of the vampire clan leader, you can speak with him or her. This sort of behavior gives the clan a bad name, so if it's not officially sanctioned by the leader, he or she can speak with the clan members about it. I know that some clan leaders will boot people like this from their clans if the person doesn't stop.

You can ban these people from your land. Unfortunately, that doesn't stop them from creating alts or from sending their friends, but if you've noticed a few key people doing this, you CAN ban them. You can also file Abuse Reports with Linden Labs about these people, for harassment.

You may or may not be able to write to Bloodlines. Don't complain about the griefing; instead, let them know that their garlic necklace doesn't seem to be working, and you want your employees names blocked from the Bloodlines system.
