Question

Educational institution, owned 4 islands.  When LL decided to eliminate the educational discount, we had no choice but to give up 2 of our islands (months ago). LL just recently got around to deleting the islands, but it looks like they also deleted one that has been paid for in advance (renewal date March 2013).  Concierge service seems to have gone by the wayside, and any other form of live chat is gone as well. Any suggestions on getting LL's attention? Have already submitted a ticket, no change in status other than "New".

ACK!  That's terrible.  Concierge service does still exist, but you may have lost access to it if LL thinks that you no longer own a sim.  Give it a try, though:

Concierge Support Phone Numbers

Toll-Free (US/Canada)

877.236.0711

Long Distance

703.286.2738

8am to Midnight PST, M-F; and 8am to 8pm PST Saturday and Sunday

Local Toll-Free numbers
  • France: 0805.101.490
  • Germany: 0800.664.5510
  • Japan: 0066.33.132.830
  • Brazil: 0800.762.1132
  • Spain: 800.300.560
  • UK: 0800.048.4646

If that doesn't work for some reason, you can at least try the normal LL Billing Office >>>  (US/Canada): 800-294-1067

When you were in contact with Linden Lab in regards to eliminating 2 regions from your educational Estate, you did state this clearly and up front to them using the open case system - yes? You should have received case updates for each island you were giving up.

Make sure to send these emails and/or case updates in as attachments when you open a support case to get your two remaining regions returned and restored to their last backup state.
