I need drapes or curtains for windows for a Linden home

Some of my neighbors have drapes on their windows and I'd like a little privacy? Where can I get those?

Your Linden Home should have drapes in the Control Panel, but I'm not confident that all models do.  If yours doesn't, you can always buy drapes in shops in world or in Marketplace.  Go shopping!

Besides Rolig's great answer...

Drapes, blinds, curtains and tinted windows provide the illusion of privacy, but not true privacy.  People outside your home can move their cameras inside and see you.

If you want better protection, go to your About Land window, and look in the Options tab.  Uncheck the box that says something like "make avatars and chat in this parcel visible to avatars outside the parcel".  Then people will still be able to see you as a dot on their maps or radar, but cannot see you with their cameras, or receive your local chat text.

If you are a voice user, you can also limit voice chat to your home's parcel with the Sound tab of About Land.
