SLT time urgent

please need a quick answer, I don't want to loose a rez party of someone important to me.

I'm in Portugal, his party will be at 8 am slt. What time it is in my country? on google I have so many optons that I can be all night wake up. lol

Portugal is 8 hours ahead of Second Life time, which uses Pacific - so 9 am in SL is 5pm your time. Here is a world clock for you:  http://www.happyzebra.com/timezones-worldclock

From Googling "Current Time in Portugal" I got two responses:

Current time in Lisbon & Current time in Azores.  So it depends on which of these two general areas you live in.

Lisbon - 8 hours ahead of SLT - Friend's party at 4 pm SLT

Azores - 7 hours ahead of SLT - Friend's party at 3 pm SLT

BTW remember you must change your clok the night from Saturday 21 to Sunday 22: -1 hour in all Europe

Actually the change of time in Europe was:

Sunday, 28 October 2012, at 4 am --> clock turned back to 3 am  :matte-motes-wink:

I didn't obey this strict rule, I adjusted all my clocks on Sunday afternoon.  It was nice to gain the extra hour then.

Bad thing is that now the sun sets one hour earlier each day.  I want summer time back!  :smileysad:

I often wish that SL time (and date) showed on our account page. I'm often logged in there when not inworld, and it would be extremely handy to those of us in weirdie time zones.
