Why can't my contacts see that I am online. Have problem in Pheonix and Firestorm.

When I log into SL with Pheonix or Firestorm none of my contacts can see I am online even though all the boxes in contacts lists are checked. Seem to have started shortly after downloading Firestorm. I also made a small park but my Avatar can not see the trees when in Firestorm but can when in Pheonix. Any Help would be Greatly appreciated

That's a bug in the newest download of the V2 viewer, Oscar, and it's affecting everyone who's not using Web Profiles.  See >>> http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Second-Life-Server/Known-issue-with-granting-revoking-permissions/td-p/975953.  It's messing up Friends lists and a lot of other things.  

The tree issue may be your LOD setting, if those are sculpty trees.  In Firestorm, open your QuickPreferences (lower task bar) and set your LOD factor to something between 3 and 4.  See if that helps.

Try removing your friend from your list and adding them back again.
