First, check your transaction log under Account on your Dashboard to see if your account was deducted for the cost.  If it was, craft a simple notecard to the seller with the transaction inormation pasted into the notecard and ask for redelivery.  Drop the notecard into the slot on the seller's profile.

If the item was a freebie, just get another one.

Look through your inventory carefully.  It might be there.   In particular, use your Recent tab and set Filters to look for anything that was added over the past few days.  If you have set the option "Automatically Accept New Inventory" (available as an option in some viewers and as a debug setting in all viewers), then it would have been delivered without notifying you and asking for approval.
