i cant read or make new notecards why

When you double click a notecard in your inventory, you mean it does not open, or it opens, but all you see is a blank window?

Are you trying to make a notecard in this way:  1) right click an empty area in your inventory, select New Note?  When you do that, does a blank notecard window open up?  If it does, can you type text in it?

If these basic operations are failing, I suggest you log out of SL, and reboot your internet router/modem, then log in and try again.

I have no idea.  It's really quite simple.  

To read a notecard:

1.  Find it in your inventory and 

2.  double click to open it (or right click and select OPEN).

To make a notecard:

1. Open ANY folder in inventory (The Notecard folder is a logical one.)

2. RIght click on the folder title and select Ceate New ... Notecard

3. Open it (see above) and start typing.

4.  Click the SAVE button.

 If you are using RLV try to turn it off , or login with the official  viewer.
