[Filming without capturing labels]

SnapzProX is a screen capture tool so it will capture everything but the nice thing about it is you can resize the filming / screen shot area; do it so the top or bottom with not be in the shot and minimize all windows and move them out of frame, (makes it easier to open them all again without trying to find them in the various menus). As for the labels, turn them off in Preferences/General. For hover tips you can turn them off as well or just move your mouse to the side of the screen if it's just to take a few still pictures.

I am not sure what you mean by "I got booted" but if you mean you crashed and you can not login or it says your are already logged in and you are not then . . .

Open SL go to perefernces clear your cache, then change login from "last location" to "Region by name" and type in AQUA and login. Why AQUA?... I don't know but it works for me.

 

[How can I move an entire sky platform?]

Hi, to avoid having pieces left behind remember you have to have your av really close to small prims so they are inworld to your av so you can grab them, all this means is that you have to do multiple grabs at different locations to get everything. Start with your av in one quarter of the build, move the camera so you have a birds eye view looking down, now grab everything that is in that area. Then fly to the next quarter of the build, adjust your camera and hold Shift down and grab that quarter of the build. Do this for the last two parts and you will have everything***. Then move it bit by bit alternating between moving the build and flying ahead until it is where you want it to be. Oh... and don't sneeze while you do this or you might have to grab it all again.
