I like your idea about the tier levels. I think that would work to everyone's advantage rather than just having 2 or 3 choices and not liking some or either of the perks each one gives or does not gives. Having multiple levels I think would work a great deal for many of us, especially to those of us that not only have been around for years but also that are merchants and or consumers as well. I've always been a premium user since I began playing years ago and have never had any issues with LL. Just this big hike after a decade is hard on some people so if they have multiple tiers to choose from would be great as well as giving them the option of how you plan of giving everyone the option of pre-paying on current pricing for a certain amount of time before the new prices come in affect. I've read a lot of complaints about the big hike in price on the VVO chat that the multiple choice of tier I bet what Coolnet said would satisfy a lot of those that are unhappy about the hike if they have more choices to choose from. IMO.

Gawd, I hope not! I really really hope not. That would piss off a lot of dedicated users.

Ummm..I'm a dork, I didn't know about SanSar till tonight and I just looked it up and seen that it's made by LL and surprised that their graphics is better than SL....There's something wrong with this picture.....I have it up atm on my steam.

To me, having an amount of groups isn't an issue. I just think that there's just sooooo many groups in SL it's become so overrated. Especially those ran by bots that are continuous of the same ads over n over rather than idk owners being personal to their customers or something. Either way, the most out there is that there's just so many repeated advertisement groups by the same bots that send the same messages non stop.

I know that if you look under the Avatar tab there is a tick in there for avatars and there's mesh avatars that a newbie is able to choose from. I checked them out for one of my alts and they really don't look too bad and they are mesh...fitmesh ofc but it's mesh..it's a good start from there and gives them time to learn all about mesh, if they are willing to. But, yes, SL is more complicated now to learn than it was 12 years ago when I joined too.

IDK, my thought is we might get some kick ass perks who knows. Guess we all just wait and see what happens. And hope we're not getting set up for something dramatic. I don't think LL would set us up on something if they didn't suggest us members to do this. I'm sure they probably have more plans ahead. All they can do is move forward, not backwards.

So, if I kept my account at quarterly as it was all I would have to do is add the yearly I want? I was planning on putting it on yearly anyway. I originally had my acct on yearly then some stuff happened in rl a while back that I set it up to quarterly and been meaning to put it back to yearly which I can now. So, now, my acct is up for renewal on June 2, I set it to yearly and was thinking of doing a pre-pay as well for another year to lock in this rate before it changes so that I will be good till 2021. That makes sense, right? lol it's late hehe.

Correct, I think so too. They are doing their best to make it fair for those of us that have been here forever already giving us a chance to get in on our regular rates before the new rates kick in. But from what I understand it's for all of us that are Premium members not just the ones that are due. I happen to be due this month, I was quarterly but changed it to annually before they bill me so that it is all set. I think I'm able to pre-pay another year between the 3rd to 24th because my payment comes out on the 2nd lol. (ofc, it figures) 🙄

Actually I think what they are saying is that between June 3 and June 24 you can pre pay another year (if you have annual) and what it does is that time will add to your current time you have now. I might be wrong but that is how I am reading it. I've been reading it over n over. Because they didn't say only those that are due, they said everyone that has Premium accounts can pre-pay another year at the current rate. After June 24 it all goes to the new rate. So, if you pre-pay between June 3-24 then you will be ok and be in the current rate but if you wait till December then you will be paying the new rate. But paying now in June it will add more time to your current time with the old (current) rates. *Hope that makes sense*

I think what they are saying is that after June 24th, they will only have Basic, Monthly and Annually. They will discontinue Quarterly unless you are Quarterly now before the changes.

Its possible that LL might be having some issues with the billing system. But, also, when you took the tutorial were you logged in? If so, you may need to relog. That's how it works for the age verification that it won't come in affect until you relog.

Check to make sure that they don't have their caps on and that they didn't change their password. Or change the password by resetting it. Haven't heard of an issue of avies being locked out of their account unless they are griefers or been reported to where SL banned them.
