  1. I know i am bumping up an old topic. But just want to throw in that I as a clothing seller, have doubted about selling stuff MOD. But i agree with all the valid points to keep things MOD. I mean if people want to adjust things they should be able to do so, they bought the item so it's considered theirs. and if they screw it up? they can get a redeliver , redeliver not working they can IM me and they get a new version. The only reason why i should sell something NO-MOD is if i put my real life picture on something, but then again i'm so ugly , no one wants to resell that
  2. Thank you LepreKhaun. In the past I also made machinima for sale video's for the products i made:
  3. Hello Machinima Artist and Machinima fans. I'm just a humble Maker of short Machinima movies. Mostly just cameraworks, no real stories. But i just wanted to share it with the community. "Lullaby Tree" second life Best Regards, Martin Requiem.
  4. Hey all. First of all im new to MESH clothing, but im not new to comming up with creative idea's then again sometimes people can already thought about this. We have scripters, photographers, Builders, Home decorators, club managers, other bussinesses in SL. How about we add " The Personal Tailor" If you know you are a great designer of mesh clothing, then why not give your company a personal touch? If I'm getting more experienced in creating mesh clothing, and I had the time for it i would offer personal tailoring. But how you say? Clearly people have a point, even if you made 100 sizes, still it wont fit some peoples personal slider settings. Then i say, TEACH your clients in order to help them. Teach what? simple: Learn them " how to export their most used shape " as an XML file which then can be imported within your personal 3D application and fit the clothing on it as a manequin . Thereby you ensure unless your client is abou to change their shape a lot, you can make a more perfect personalized fitting outfit. Again, i just have thoughts, I migth flaw or not think to in dept about this, but atleast if i knew how, I would go by this route. There are many creators who crate clothing and sell good, cause they well, look good. How many personal tailors are there out there who create clothing specificly for their clients fit? let me know what you all think about this?
  5. I started my SL using viewer 2 and i personally love it, thats my choice. I cant get used to the interface of phoenix, I like my stuff being in a sidebar. the easy way of making clothing sets. Please I dont want to start a fire topic about viewer 2 sucks I personaly love it and wont use anything else UNLESS it has the same User interface as viewer 2. as concerning the answer about hardware skinning, I LOVE YOU!!!! that worked!! only crashed my sl, but hey, crahses im used too TYVM!
  6. BUMP SO any news yet?? or is this idea totally died?
  7. I was exicted when i heard the new options for light & shadow, occlusion and dept of field were in the latest update. But viewer 2 thinks my graphic card cant handle it, cause i need atleast openGL 3.0 Well dear Linden labs, with the program OpenGL extension viewer it seems i even run OpenGL 4.0 I can run the newest games in super high modes! What's up with seond life then? My system spec: Renderer: ATI Radeon HD 5570 Vendor: ATI Technologies Inc. Memory: 512 MB Version: 4.0.10750 Core Profile Forward-Compatible Context Shading language version: 4.10 ( <---- openGL ) If the answer is that my card aint suporrted, thats kind of nonsens since i can run ANY OTHER game /program, so my guess is the engine that is being used for second life on viewer 2 is just bad. am i the only one having problems running the extra features while you KNOW your graphic card does ace in other applications?
  8. Bonified dreams started out and is still a family of people in sl, who are truthfull and solid, the name has been led from the official word Bona Fide. bona fide adj [ˈbəʊnə ˈfaɪdɪ] 1. real or genuine a bona fide manuscript 2. undertaken in good faith a bona fide agreement Not to be mistaken by urban dictionaries where its describe as something complete different, which i wont state in this message. To be bonified means to us to be truthful , honest open and friendly towards your fellow mankind. DJ Requiem.
  9. Good to hear something And i think its indeed a good thing LL looks at copyright. Cause I cant help to think a lot of people goign to ask a lot of linden for a however so good looking object, while its a simple steal or even if its a free mesh. I simply hope people will come up with own made meshes For that reason i hope some of you out there could make a compilation of all license free meshes that can be found on the internet and make them, freebies on the market place for those who are not experienced in building, and provide those full perm. just to prevent people to be robbed of their lindens for a mesh which is actually free to start with. I've been on the betagrid and seen some very orignal items made already, I just hope they primcosts will be fixed also. Well still waiting patiently for the day mesh arrives to the main grid. Thanks for the update. peace,
  10. I.ve been waiting for this a long time, i tried it its superb, easy and fast! WHen is this going to be released officially in an update to SL viewers?
