I'm about to put back this very interesting 512 (just to the left of the rez zone). Aside from having both road and boat rez zones right there, this one is situated at a diagonal (as are the nearby houses), so that you actually don't have a neighbor right next to you! Considering how "close" some of the 512s seem, this is pretty cool. :D

I like how they did that. It makes the 512 look like it has much more room around it. Plus, you have a rez zone right there! That is a score!

  2. I get inspiration from other forum members who post their home pictures and from homes I see when I am out exploring. Sometimes I can get stuck and not know where to go with a theme until I see other people's work and get motivation from them. However, I never copy a home from top to bottom, even if I love it. I need to be me and have my own personal stamp on it. We are already living in "cookie cutter" neighborhoods so having some individuality matters to many of us.

With that said, my builds sometimes get copied pretty heavily and most the time I do not mind. Oftentimes, the build is just different enough to make me comfortable with it. I also openly share where I get my things and even freely share pieces and addons I make myself with people who ask. I actually like getting to know people through our mutual love of Belliserria and through sharing of inspiration. I take most of it as flattery. I used a kitchen in one of my houses which resulted in a lot of sales for that creator and the only thing that annoys me about it is that I did not get a commission!

I move and I change up my builds enough that no one could possibly copy everything everywhere.

Thank you to whoever abandoned this place in Shiawasena Itachi (Happy Weasel???  Is this a Naruto reference?)!

It has a lovely view of Sojisan from the east-facing front yard, is a couple houses from Sojisan SW, has protected land next door and pretty good privacy.  It is in a really cute region with fancy stairways, water and land rez zones just a couple houses away, and a high hill with ponds and an incredible view.  And, very importantly to me, it is a VERY short land or water trip to Shobu.

Oh, it's not the absolute BEST Sakura parcel - as most of you have seen, with water gardens, waterfalls, etc.. But to me most important thing about a parcel is, can you enjoy it.  This one will give me pleasure.  It will be JUST enough of a decorating challenge, has terrific photo ops, and great destinations right nearby!   I am indeed one happy ... weasel?

You are like me in that you look for more than just some water nearby. That is a really pretty parcel. I wasn't so sure about the Sakura theme, but now that I have a home there and have furnished it, I absolutely love the theme.

Thank you! I just checked the pewpew store and they do indeed have the set, 25 LI if anyone is interested. I believe the entire set is around 800L. no eating animations and not a lot of sits but it works for me!

Linking everything on top of the table to the table drops the LI by 4.

  5. I got a great parcel but I stood on it for hours flipping through homes before I decided on one I liked. It took me a bit to get rolling on this theme because I wasn't sure what to do with it, but I like how it turned out a lot. I still have some tweaking to do and I am not happy with the bath so I will keep working on that room. Here is what I have so far 🙂

Side effect to that is and used to be with openspace sims, people went nuts, LL ran out of space for them,  so they capped it like it is now.   aws is another animal and can get costly depending on how their aws configuration is too,  LL is already paying more for the aws setup than they were for their physical setup in arizona,  so there is that to think about before they go about rolling anything out that people would like,  whats the bottom line cost and will they start dipping into the black on what's being brought in too.

That makes perfect sense and not something I considered as an average SL consumer.

  7. I am on the fence about this. I will never have need for one of these regions but someone might. I think the thing I'm stuck on is that it appeals to only a very select few SL premium residents. I suppose I might benefit from it as a shopper and that is nice, but the price seems crazy high to me. Events will have to charge more per booth and I can see that higher booth price being passed on to the consumer. No, thank you.

I would be much more excited it they came up with affordable options for the regular folks of SL and didn't cater only to the high-rollers. Homesteads without needing a full region would be a nice start. Ultimately, little sims - the size of a quarter sim with 1250LI & a 1/4 the price that matches - would make my year.
