Hi, Am interested in getting into photography in Second Life. I have watched some tutorials and trying to get to grips with what I have read. I was wondering if anyone has places they know of that sell quality poses. Also how do you go about getting a Flickr account for SL not that I am anywhere near putting my pics out there as yet. Thanks in advance for any help.

Have never had a problem with my Catwa head and although have been on SL a long time would never dismiss help from anyone thinking I know better. Skell always tries to help and is so knowledgeable I would be so glad if he offered assistance. Can’t understand some of the attitudes you get for trying to help.

Wow so you hate Maitreya and the ‘communities’ using it. Obviously you are way smarter than the majority of people who choose it. There is no need to be rude to people who try to help if anything it would explain how you describe people as either ***** or egotists, probably more down to your own attitude than anything else.

Actually Syo although he has not got into a mesh body that’s not to say that he is not attractive because I don’t think you have to be mesh to look good. Unless you are naked I don’t think it’s a given that you can’t look good. He has a very busy RL and doesn’t spend huge amounts of time on SL so perhaps for him he doesn’t feel the necessity to get into it to that extent. I haven’t broached the subject as it’s a choice I made for myself but not one he has chosen, which is fine with me. I have seen on profiles ‘don’t approach me if you are not mesh’ which I think is a pretty short sighted attitude as you could be missing out on someone really nice. I have been approached by quite a few great looking guys who had obviously gone to a lot of effort to make their avi’s look amazing, several of them turned out to be not very nice once I got talking to them. i guess the whole thing comes down to personal choice in the end.

All you ladies look awesome but also you are all very articulate....for me that’s the most attractive thing. Love seeing males who look like they take care of themselves and without naming anyone some who post on here are just stunning. I have been partnered 3 times here, once to an idiot (to my eternal shame) my excuse is I was very new, then for almost 6 years, he was married RL which I only found out after he did a disappearing act, then briefly to a lovely guy which didn’t work because of our different time zones still good friends always will be. The thing is they were all very different. My current b/f as I said is not into all the hype but I find him hugely attractive because of the person he is. I really enjoy seeing the diversity of the avies, the different looks and how funny and helpful the people on these forums are, so thanks to you all for making SL so interesting.

I was wondering because I can how do you feel about the way people present themselves in SL. I have an all mesh avi, head, body and a ton of clothes. My b/f is not interested in all that. I think the person behind the avi is the most important thing. To me he is funny, intelligent and holds my interest. His take on life is what matters and who he is. Appearance is not everything sure it’s nice but look beyond it’s so much better. wish all on forums a great happy day.

Hi all, I got a collar not so I could be hauled around on the end of a leash (well not at the moment I think, but who knows) just to have a little fun with my boyfriend,. However i was wondering if there are any easy to follow instructions for using lit. What I mean is the instructions I have seen for setting up folders seem a bit complicated but maybe that's down to me. I would think that someone might have written an idiots guide at some time. Most of the posts I have seen were written a long time ago and am not sure if the instructions would work with mesh avi's. I would be grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction . Thank you

Actually Cindy no it was not the only one but just the most distasteful words fail me lol and believe me that is a unusual occurrence. I just don’t understand why anyone would imagine I would want to see them.

Hi, If someone sends me a photo I did not ask for and certainly did not want can I report them? its really annoying because when I complained about it his partner seemed to think it was amusing. Now am no prude far from it but that’s no excuse for sending a frankly distasteful pic labelled for Laika. I won’t attach it because don’t want to spoil anyone’s day.

I love the forum too and the mostly nice people who frequent it.

I was just wondering do you spend a lot of time here or not so much? I log in after work mostly but do sneak looks at my dashboard at work, and it seems to me that a lot of my male friends spend a lot of time on here. Of course this could be because they work from home. I get that. Am sure there are lots of different reasons for time spent , just wondered how people spend their time. Sl is a wonderful place for having fun, listening to music etc can be obsessive I guess, but to each their own. Hope everyone having a great day on here.

Strangely my voice has come back have no idea how or why.

I got pc back and did a clean install of Firestorm no difference so there was nothing on my pc causing problems. I downloaded Singularity viewer and voice works on it so if I need to voice with someone I can use it otherwise I will stick to Firestorm as my preferred viewer. Thanks for suggestions. I appreciate it.

Thanks to everyone to be clear I don't switch voice on in public places am sure nobody wants to hear me going about doing whatever Domestic situation I am in, including my dogs barking at anything that moves. I totally agree that is annoying. However I do like the option of voicing with people I have known for a long time. I have been around for a while and this is the first time voice has crapped out on me totally. In the past it was just a blip, sometimes a relog would solve it. I have visited voice canyon to test and no luck. Did clean install of Firestorm but same, no luck. Had a of problem so it's in for tune up although it's fairly new but seems to have picked up a virus so maybe when I get it back will have more luck although I don't think so. It's more frustrating than anything as I am the type of person that finds it hard to give up have to keep trying .

I have always been able to voice now suddenly I cannot. Have not changed anything and tried Firestorm help but nothing . Very frustrating. Any ideas would be welcome. The talk button is greyed out.

Hi can anyone recommend an easy to use dance hud? I am totally baffled as to what to get some on MP look really old. I just want something I can invite a friend to dance or friends. Keep it simple please lol. I have a coupes dance hud but find it difficult to line up with a partner. Any suggestions would be great . Thanks

Have to totally disagree about Catwa and the people, everyone is incredibly helpful on the Catwa Group and Catwa herself has always been the same.
