Hey all, I wanted to address the "General Discussion" Forum question that has come up. Our goal with the Forums is to keep them as focused and constructive as possible. Although General Discussion no longer exists, we're always happy to create new Forums when the need comes up. That's where the Forum Feedback section is critical. We'll be watching it closely and adding new topic-specific Forums over time.

 

Looks like you are gonna need to throw together a General Discussion forum damn quick.

I would like to see in the View All mode that the pages in each thread are visible so that we can jump to whichever page we like.

That is THE LL highly guarded secret we are all trying to figure out. Apparently post count is a minor integer in the algorithm to determine which rank or role you are.

My Settings>>>Preferences>>>General Tab

At the bottom there is a little box to check.

 

ETA...sorry that looks like just sorting of Topics by most recent post. And even that doesn't seem to work. There are also preferences to look at in Linear Layout and Topic Layout Quinn. I am playing with  them to see of there is a combo that works.

[What are Macros in My Settings?]

Go to the Macros tab under "My Settings"

You have 9 possible macros to create.

Give it a name, type the body and save.

When you post, on the top right of the message box is a drop down beside the Quote button.

Choose the Macro you wish to post into the message box.

Then just post.

They can also be used for IM's as well.
