Well not been very tech savvy i'm a bit concerned about having one built. So I've been looking at mac's. This is the one i'm interested in but im not sure if the graphics card will be ok. I need to run secondlife occassionally with shadows to take good pics. Please let me know what you think. No I bought the scrits to go in the home and built the home myself

Hi I need to buy a new laptop or desktop to run SL . The new viewer totally crashes my system whenever I try to log in. I've been looking the at mac pro but quite frankly havent a clue what to get. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you Nyll but i created the home myself. I wanted to update it in a sandbox and found that it wouldnt rez. So I tried numerous places and found the that the only place it would rez properly was on my sim. I would love to find out why it only rezzes on my sim and nowhere else. I'm using the jack hawthor box script NT witht he huge item scripts

well if thats your general manner you should probably stick to raising chickens and forgo the advice

Hi Tigger, the message is from Sl & it says . item won't rez for unknown reason. The house is mod/copy so should be fine. I tried to rez the item from the rez box contents into a sanbox and it still wouldnt rez. Very frustrating. I have no idea why it works on my land but not on others.

WOW you seriously need anger management!. FYI I put it in a sandbox to build on it. I would've thought that was pretty obvious buy obviously not to you. The reason I 'm asking the question here is that I've covered all of the really simple solutions (i:e make sure scripts are running in the sandbox and make sure they have enough prims to rez) But If you have anymore really great ideas that are slightly less sarcastic please feel free to post them here . I'm sure we will all enjoy holding onto our sides as they split with laughter!

No i tried to rez on a friends sim which is completely bare and still the same error msg. Yet it works perfectly on my land. I 've tried other sandboxes too and it still wont rez.

Hi can someone help me please. I bought a home that rezzes on my sim but when i take it to any other sandbox or sim it wont rez at all. I get a message saying wont rez for unknown reason? Ive tryed moving the rezzer box all over to rez but still get the same message. Why is this?

Even if it doesn't sell it will make it harder for good creators to showcase their work. But who knows hopefully the lindens do know what they're doing. But by the looks of things right now. I'd say that was highly improbable

Well personally I think its disgusting. The marketplace will now be flooded with new items from creators who dont even need a sim to rez a magic box. Get ready for a huge infiltration of crap everybody. This will slowly but surely phase out in world shopping. Pretty counter productive for the Lindens I'd say. No shops, no land sales. Its a slippery slope. else at Turning a fast buck wont work & it will affect SL massively.
