I've spent the last 2 hours adding items to my magic box then syncing them with my marketplace account but for some reason they wont show. Hav emagic boxes become obsolete or is the marketplace not working properly?

LOL. I thought about that . using a rotation script in a prim but couldn't figure out how to make it animate my avi when I touced the prim. Any ideas ?

I;ve sent out an IM to the creator also.

I tried the arrow keys . They just move my camera angles aroung and not my avi. I have the water set to phantom and it isnt linked to anythiing .

I have the pool , the animation . But when i animate my avi with it. I swim on the spot. Please can someome help me?

I created a swimming pool. Bought a non static swimming animation and can't figure out how to use it. I added the animation to the water. It animated my avatar but I stayed in the same place. No swimming along the water, just swimming on the spot. Can anyone tell me how to make my avi move along with the animation please? I'm completely stuck! Thanks advance.

no i dont get shadows when sliding to ultra . Im not sure how to find my graphics card info and even if i did i wouldnt know if it was any good

oh im not sure . But I think it should support it because Im ok when i go into ultra mode. I think i must be missing a setting somewhere and once activated it will work?

I ve checked the VBO in my hardwear setting as in your picture but it doesnt change anything in preferences and does activate the FBO in the develop menu. Im my preferences

There's an unchecked anisotropic filtering box in the hardwear settings. Should that be checked?

Hi. I tried that . Checked the enable VBO box and no luck. Still no Frame buffer object option under rendering. Is there anything else I can do? I tried logging out & back , no joy

I've just downloaded the new SL viewer and I'm trying to enable shadows to take pics. All the tutorials I watch say to open the develop menu go to rendering and select frame buffer object but I don't appear to have one. Is there something I need to do to activate the FBO option? I have changed my graphic to the ultra setting although this sometimes makes me crash and its very difficult to move. I hope someone out there can give me some advice today. Many thanks :)

After all the hyper sensitive responses you received in regard to your question I would say don't feel that you are offending anyone by asking a question about death. RL or Sl. SL is not a morgue, and if as I'm sure there are people who are terminally ill enjoying sl I'm sure they have more concerns than to worry about what questions you or I may ask. You were tactful in your enquiry. People live people die , thats life. No need to tip toe around everything. My best friend in sl came by to me one day after being offline for 3 months, they asked how my business was going and how my life was. I was a bit miffed that they hadnt been in contact for so long and let it it show. Little did I know they had come to say goodbye. 3 days later I received a message from their RL brother. They had passed away. My last conversation will stay with me forever. Not because I said something wrong, not because I was honest in my feelings and thoughts, I know my best friend understood. He was kind enough not to tell me he was going. But because I won't ever get the chance to say what I really felt. I didn't realise it was the last time I would ever speak to him. If I could add one positive thing to this discussion, it would be not to criticise people, just praise them. Show people you love them while you have the chance. In memory of Zack
