Thank you! He is from Rezz Room and now is "protecting" my Treehouse, along with some wandering trees I found, LOL. Now for a name........... I guess "Fluffy" is taken.............
Superb video, he's cute but the wandering trees scare me.

My only peeve today is I have a migraine that's made the unilateral decision that I cannot be left on my own, and it's managed thwarting meds.
Migraines are a pain, har har, all on their own. They are an even bigger pain the day after a holiday when children are sugared up beyond belief and no one is prepared or inclined to behave like a human being. This town's ToT was Saturday, but most surrounding towns have it on the 31st.
I did get to confiscate a very large bag (really big tote almost completely full) of candy today though, because it was being used as a weapon. The mom at pickup said "keep it, I told him not to take it out of my room and he did it twice, so now he gets nothing".
So, kudos to that mom and yay for my desk drawer full of lunch candy!
Is there any connection, perchance, between you having the migraine, but also having acquired that big bag of candy?
E-numbers just are not our friend.
Pet Delight: You reminded me that I bought some "Christmas" chocolates a few days ago, stashed them in a safe place. I am about to retrieve them, make a coffee, and go watch Tom Hanks in A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood.
Thank you.

Not sure if this is the correct forum, A longtime SL friend who used to be an SL girlfriend told me she has lung cancer in RL. She was telling her friends just in case she disappears. She told her current SL partner who will most likely contact us because they know each other in RL. I am depressed about it. Has this happened to you with someone on your friend's list?
There have been a couple of announcement on these forums of the sad news that some of our lovely long-time friends have sadly passed away in real life. It is extremely sad, and they will always be missed.
I don't think there can be any one of us oldbies who hasn't suffered the loss of a friend we made in Second Life. It's a reminder that behind every avatar is a mere mortal, even though it does look like our virtual selves will live on a long time after our death because of what is stored and available for many years on the internet.
Be sad and grieve, it's very normal, a sign that you are a caring human being.

/me wonders how different an "American Edition" would look.........
I cannot imagine but feel donuts would be involved somewhere, and the mug would contain coffee rather than tea, or beer and be a lot chubbier.

I used to be (and possibly still am) in a group called Profile Perverts Anonymous, and for some reason have this quote from a profile.
It will make some people's fingers itch for sure. (Red pens at the ready )

When i first started playing sl i was nieve, sweet, kind hearted, full of giddiness, laughter, happiness, wanted to make everyone my friend and show them the love filled heart i had to share. But in the jounrney of my time here in sl i have found nothing but heartache, mind games, stress, players,to many tears have been shed and con artists who are out to just steal your money. So Thank you Sl for making me a skeptic, distrusting, cold hearted ***** who has no love left to share.- 4

Isn't the key always on the lid of the can?
In the olden days these keys used to drop off.
Now sardine cans have ring pulls.
The keys still sometimes drop off the corned beef cans though.

Hello, I hope you are finding many friends your own age already.
I am 60 years old in real life and almost 16 years old in Second Life (real time), but my avatar is around 27 years old forever.
I also like fire and have laser eyes that set people and things on fire, which has sometimes got me banned from regions. I have a gun that fires crying babies all over the place, and anything is a weapon if you turn it physical and drop it from a height.
A lot of people like ducks.
Here are some photos. I hope you enjoy.

Peeve for tonight, people who try to spoil shows or movies for me. UGH!
I may look and behave sweet as pie, but that does not mean I lack the capability of throat punching someone into the next century.
I swear to all that is holy, this is a hill I will absolutely die on. Leave me and my little innocent vices alone, I have so few of them.
I swear I have the weirdest peeves, don't I? Talk about first world problems, lmao.
Not a weird peeve at all.
Reminds me of that song by Alice Cooper, It's the Little Things,
...
You can burn my house
You can cut my hair
You can make me wrestle naked
With a grizzly bear
You can poison my cat
Baby I don't care
But if you talk in the movies
I'll kill you right thereIt's the little things
It's just the little things
Aw it's the little things
It's just the little things
Yeah it's the little things
That drive me wild- 2

The reason why I ask is because after reading a topic someone mentioned that the mainland had scattered clues of the "past before" Second Life. I had assumed before that since this is a social sandbox, there would be no "official" lore in SL at all.
All that comes to mind is a name. Steller Sunshine. And the tale of the beanstalk. Is that classed as lore?
