  1. While not a "screamer" the GT 720 is adequate to run Second Life.... in a low to mid level graphics slider level. Make sure that you have unchecked the following Advanced options:

    o Anisotropic Filtering

    o Avatar Hardware Skinning

These usually work poorly on low end GCs. [Thus promoting the crash and burning effects]

  2. Seriously, here are the links to the exact reasons why debit cards of any brand are not accepted...

But 1st the normal stuff...[jump to the bottom of this post for the links to the painful details regarding WHY!]

Most if not all Pre-paid Cards regardless of the financial issuer brand are not accepted as a Payment Method. The fact that you were able to use one in the past as a Payment Method is no guarantee that it will continue to be valid. Links to the Why are at the bottom of this post.

Accepted Payment Methods by country can be found at this link:

VAT and changing your billing country

Your selected country determines the payment methods available to you.  Normally, you should not need to change your billing country, but you may need to update it if you are travelling or have moved to a new location.  You can change your billing country by clicking the Change button next to your country's name on the Billing Information page.

If your billing country is a member of the European Union, you may be subject to the collection of value added tax (VAT).  If you are a business and are reselling, or adding value to Second Life before providing it to a consumer, you are eligible to provide your EU-issued VAT ID number in order to be excluded from the collection of VAT.  If you see "Subject to VAT" under your billing country's name on the Billing Information page, you can add your exception by clicking Add VAT Exception and providing your ID.

For more information, see VAT frequently asked questions

  4. Well we can't make any specific recommendations about boyfriends available in the Second Life Market Place but we can suggest that you may want to visit...

    1) The Make Friends Forum: Make Friends & the Lifestyles and Relationships forums

    2) Various Meeting places in-world like clubs and other music venues

I'm sure others will chime in with their guaranteed to please hook up place advise.

    Good Luck.

  5. Ronnie,

Pop on over to your Land Use Fees Page  and make sure that the $125.00 USD/ month Fee is checked. If not, check it immediately.

Think of this page as a max level slider that can change if for some reason you owned even 4 sqm more land for a second in the previous month. That ownership of land popped you automatically to the next tier level. However, once it is gone the slider will NOT drop back to the original fee level. You have to do it ;(
