  1. I've noticed this as well with some recent purchases using rezzers to deploy the build. Looking into the objects where this message is still displayed I see that the rezzing/alignment scripts have self deleted but the message remains. Your hover text clear script works perfectly. My guess is the rezzer object script in the affected objects did not include the hover text clearing command or the rezzer script was not put in the root prim as is advised.

  2. Kayleen,

    Unfortunately this falls under the category of a resident-resident dispute. There is really not much you can do other than what you have already done. Your landlord has attempted to make good on your lease agreement but you are wary about returning [with good reason].

    While requesting a refund is within the scope of reason, many land owners pay Linden Lab based on their monthly tier agreement and your lease $$ have probably already been paid to LL.  I'm not making excuses for your landlord or for the situation you find yourself in but if you are not comfortable returning to your parcel at this location then you need to find a home elsewhere.

    Your remaining lease L$ are gone unless your landlord finds the means to and is willing to refund you.

    Linden Lab will not get involved in this situation as it is a resident-resident dispute.

  3. You should stand in the middle of your Linden Home and request World / About Land / [Abandon Land]. this releases your Linden Home back to inventory After this your 512sqm allowance is available towards a parcel on mainland.

  4. Unfortunately once a Linden Home has been released back to inventory is cannot be requested again. Individual Linden Homes are offered randomly each time you request one as a Premium Member.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Lamentablemente, una vez que Linden Home ha sido liberado de nuevo al inventario no se puede solicitar de nuevo. Individual Linden Casas se ofrecen aleatoriamente cada vez que usted solicite uno como un Miembro Premium.
  5. This tablet/laptop from ASUS is a fine general purpose tablet computer that will handle normal business graphics and movie video needs using the Intel HD 520 integrated graphics subsystem under Windows 10 Home edition. This tablet is meant to compete against the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. The rating of that graphics subsystem can be found at the link below:
    http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=Intel+HD+520
    While you can probably run SecondLife on this tablet is will not give you a high-end graphics experience with that graphics engine. Additionally you may find that this unit may experience overheating since tablets are not designed to run high-end 3D applications like SecondLife at a high GPU loads for extended periods of time..
    You can do much better if your budget us $1600.00 USD by getting a laptop computer specifically desugbed for gaming.
  6. ANOTHER ANDRIOD LUMIYA UPDATE PUSHED OUT TODAY
    Like Yay. Lumiya for Android devices pushed out another update today. On top of the earlier July 2016 updates this September update makes it clear that the developer is on the ball and still supporting our fave Andriod App.Details below:
    Lumiya 3.1.2 - support for Google Drive
    Published: Wednesday, 19 October 2016
    Lumiya 3.1.2 adds an option to automatically store chat and IM history in your Google Drive.
    To activate it, install free Lumiya Cloud Plugin from Google Play and check "Save chat history in Google Drive" in Lumiya's settings under "Chat and messages". When you log in to SL, Lumiya will upload your existing chat history too.
    Lumiya 3.1.1 - more bug fixes
    Published: Tuesday, 27 September 2016
    As usual, after a major Lumiya 3.1 release, there's is a follow-up update to fix the discovered bugs and incompatibilities.
    No new features has been added in this update. Most notably, the following issues has been fixed:
    • Screen corruption in 3D view on certain Adreno 305 and 320 GPUs (e.g. Sony Xperia T3);
    • Crash on saving notecard data.
     More updates soon to follow, so stay tuned!
    Lumiya 3.1 - it only gets faster
    Published: Tuesday, 27 September 2016
    Lumiya 3.1 adds support for OpenGL ES 3.0, which allows for major frame rate improvements in 3D mode - especially when rendering mesh bodies, mesh hair, and everything mesh in general, on almost every modern phone or a tablet. It also improves rendering of translucent mesh clothing, now getting much closer to how it should actually look.
    This update also adds a few handy features:
    • taking and sharing screenshots;
    • editing avatar profiles;
    • setting home location.
    Among other changes, a button to play sound stream has been moved to its proper location - to the action menu on Contacts screen. Of course, this update includes countless bug fixes, most notably:
    • Mesh body HUDs are now working as expected;
    • Kemono avatars are being rendered correctly.
    More updates soon to follow, so stay tuned!
    Lumiya 3.0.3 - moving HUDs and more fixes
    Published: Saturday, 30 July 2016
    Lumiya 3.0 only keeps getting better with this third update since its release, now with version 3.0.3 available on Google Play.
    It is mostly a bugfix update, but it does include one new feature - ability to move HUDs around the screen, naturally, by dragging them.
    And a short list of discovered and fixed issues:
    • Fixed a crash in 3D mode on Intel-based devices;
    • Fixed incorrect screen layout in 3D mode after rotation;
    • "Don't save user name" option now works as it should.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Lumiya 3.0.2 - more bug fixes
    Published: Friday, 29 July 2016
    Soon after releasing Lumiya 3.0 and 3.0.1 updates in quick succession, update to Lumiya 3.0.2 is available on Google Play.
    It is a bugfix-only update. Most important, exporting chat history should now work reliably on every device.
    Short list of discovered and fixed issues:
    • Fix for exporting chat history;
    • Fix for blank 3D screen after switching back and forth;
    • Fix for malformed sound stream URLs;
    • Fix for notifications being always enabled.
    Lumiya 3.0.1 - bug fixes and the Cam button
    Published: Thursday, 28 July 2016
    Quick to follow large 3.0 update, there is Lumiya 3.0.1 already on Google Play.
    Apart from a few minor bug fixes, there's that old Cam button back because of so many requests. It is not enabled by default, but, for those dearly missing the button, it can be enabled in Settings → 3D. Also, it is now possible to choose what Left and Right arrows do in 3D mode.
    Pinch gesture has been somewhat improved to allow for moving the camera sideways too.
    Exporting chat history should also work nicely on Marshmallow devices. On first export, Lumiya will ask for permission to access your storage, which is naturally needed to create a text file so that chat history could be actually exported.
    Also, Lumiya can now play animations from inventory, and hopefully stop them. To aid with that, there is a "Stop avatar animations" option on 3D screen.
    And a short list of changes, as usual:
    • Ability to play animations from inventory;
    • Optional Camera button in 3D view (see Settings → 3D to enable);
    • Exporting chat history now works on Android Marshmallow;
    • Fixed incorrect avatar shape when wearing skeleton deformers.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Lumiya 3.0 - finally there!
    Published: Wednesday, 27 July 2016
    After a long and protracted development, Lumiya 3.0 is available on Google Play.
    It features a new, fresh user interface, completely redesigned and practically rewritten from scratch, with material themes, gestures, sane navigation and better look all around. It even includes pink color theme for those inclined.
    Most importantly, Lumiya now keeps the entire chat history on the phone. No more lost messages and trying to remember whether you had "Save chat logs" option enabled. Entire history can be exported to Google Drive, Dropbox or saved anywhere else in a standard Android way.
    Lumiya now includes fairly complete group management, with support for group invites, editing group roles and assigning permissions.
    In 3D mode, pinch and drag gestures are now used to move the camera around, while buttons are reserved to walking. And, finally, in-world popup menus are now looking and acting like popup menus, and even better, because they can be swiped away to dismiss them.
    The last but not the least, the update includes a lot of bug fixes - in particular, Lumiya should not crash anymore at Nexus 5 and similar devices - and some performance improvements all around. Also, more data gets cached than before, to reduce bandwidth usage and handle poor network conditions better.
    To sum it up, there is a short list of changes, which is necessarily incomplete because Lumiya 3.0 is practically a new app and almost everything has been reworked from the ground up:
    • New user interface with material design;
    • New Pink color theme;
    • Avatar pictures in chat and contacts;
    • Group management;
    • Persistent chat history;
    • Improved nagivation in 3D mode, with pinch and drag gestures;
    • Improved interaction with in-world objects;
    • Option to keep Wi-Fi awake while connected;
    • Fixed crashes in 3D mode on certain devices.
    - Happy Lumiya Fan Girl - Best $2.99 USD I ever spent
  7. If you are asking "Can I pay for my Linden Purchase" using my phone number like they do in the UK and other countries, then the answer is no.
    However if you are asking "Can I purchase Lindens" without using the SL Viewer by using my phone's Web Browser the answer is Yes. I use the Chrome web Browser to log onto my SL Dashboard to monitor my Linden Limit Sells and Limit Purchases whenever I'm on the road.
  8. Nan,
    Unfortunately Pocket Metaverse is no longer available in the Apple Store nor is its support web-page blog active any longer [ Pocket Metaverse Support Community on Get Satisfaction ]. The product itself disappeared about 24 months ago. The last tweet post was in 2011.  Why it is still in the 3rd party viewer page is a mystery. Apparently Linden Lab does not check regularly with the developers to see if they are still offering and/or supporting their products.
    Likewise, Bright Canopy seems to be out of business as well. Its log in page redirects to the general Frame Cloud login page, a company that specializes in hosting applications that are then accessed via a web browser.  [https://fra.me/products]
    I'm sorry but you have exactly zero options for accessing SecondLife from your iPhone at this time.
    P.S. Android Users with high end multi-processor phones can utilize the Lumiya [http://www.lumiyaviewer.com/] viewer which is still available on the Google Play Store for $2.99 USD.  Due to the way it was coded it has stood the test of time and several LL protocol updates. However the developer no longer answers their email for questions or support issues.
    Sigh.
