Unlike private estate projects, Islandia was a part of the mainland auctioned by Linden Lab and presented as fully terra formable to the seller. Chung's purchase, and subsequent terraforming, was considered controversial. Islandia is located on the the East ends of Sansara, the largest and oldest continent. Islandia is broken into two parts (known by some as North Islandia and South Islandia) and connected to the mainland by Void Sims. Southern Islandia Sims: Southern Islandia has a largely beach and foothill topography, in a uniform grid. Sim names trend towards the name of either artists or older Second Life residents.
