  1. I know this is an old thread but I was looking for some information and was surprised to read this. I have a freebie guitar in SL that plays a fairly long piece of music beautifully. Listening to it I haven't noticed any of what you described here
  2. I'd like to be able to create tailor made mesh clothes in Blender for specific classic avatars, which means I don't want to use standard sizes. I understand that the way to do that is to have the avatar uploaded into Blender. I was told that the easiest way is by using avastar, but I can't buy avastar at the moment, and I'm willing to do it the hard way, if there is a way. So My question is, how do I upload a specific avatar into blender without using Avastar? If a friend who has Avastar is willing to help me with this, how do they export it so that they can send it to me in a format that I can use in Blender? I hope my questions make sense, because I've never used Avastar, and my friend is new to it too. Thank you in Advance.
  3. I know this is an old thread but I found it while looking for a solution to the same problem. I found a solution to my jagged edges problem and I am not sure if anyone has already mentioned it or not as I haven't read every word in the thread. My mesh was super simple and I had no problems with a small size bake 512x5212 until I started experimenting with different things to do with lighting and the nodes. However trying to simplify things back to how they originally were didn't work, which was strange. But finally this is what worked:- Baking on a bigger texture 1024x1024 that was suggested in this thread and elsewhere on the web helped a little but still. This is the real culprit. The margin is usually 16 by default. I brought it down to 3 or 5 and forgot about it, and to be honest, I didn't even think that it would be the cause. But, as soon as I brought it back up to 13 or 16 the jagged edges disappeared. I hope this can help someone.
