  1. Nerdragist? umm can I buy a vowel? There you go then Jaylin.. See? scratch the Redgrave advice and just do whatever she says. (Try not to make eye contact either)

Enyoying SL so far, one thing began to catch my eye: With the exception of a few Nekos and a few weirder looks, almost all males in SL look like mindless, musclebound wrestlers, preferrably blackhaired... with either a Rocker-look or a Smoking. (exaggerated, but.. you catch my drift) Looking at my own Avatar, i saw im no exception, at least not in the shape + skin i brought. Trying to edit the shape made the skin look weird.. so... i wonder, if there is a store one can get the base for a nonwrestler- but still trained look.. think not of the hulking weight-lifter but more of the, say marathon-runner... or anything not on hight-power steroids. Oh, and still human.. im not into Furries, Nekos, Vamps. Any Tips? I suck at anything related to fashion (as Daria is going to point out if I don't get in first), but try going to some place like Redgrave where they have more 'normal' shapes and skins. Failing that just put on some sort of default Linden skin and do the shape yourself, then go skin shopping. If you're really into authenticity I have a supposed 'anatomically correct' shape made by a person working in that field I could send you just for a laugh, but it's not pretty. Ignore the 11 foot tall 'incredible hulk' wannabes. Most folks are using SL for a very good reason, and those guys show their hand even before typing a word. (Have a chat to Daria.. It might help. She's pretty much an encylopaedia of good stores versus crappy ones).
  3. Exactly the same as if you heard it on the street. Luckily you have multiple choices. You can run around whining for a sympathetic parent like an upset toddler, take matters into your own hands and make an effort to resolve the situation yourself, or alternatively distance yourself from it through a number of methods as others have mentioned. Seriously, there's enough whiny people here wanting the umpires decision on mundane matters every day, do you really want to count yourself among them?
  4. I think the migraine is causing you to reply to the wrong message too
  5. Like sands through the hourglass.. Holy crap my eyes are bleeding after reading that tale. Husbands, fathers, sisters.. wtf? I really really hope you don't use these terms when filling in the abuse reports. I mean, can you see how this might all be interpreted by a lowly LL employee who drew the short straw and was assigned to abuse report processing? Here's a tip or three if you're really serious about leaving this all behind. Disown any "sisters" that are talking out of school. Period. (I still can't believe you didn't figure this one out all by yourself). Avoid the temptation to visit sims you know full well are owned/frequented by people who don't like you. That goes for their friends, colleagues, buddies, mothers, fathers, sisters, third cousins, neighbours etc. If your "husband" is the cause of all this being visited on your furry lil head, consider disowning him too. Yes your life will be sooo much more boring, but peaceful too. You did want that, right?

I can't even upload my images on other sites without that grifer group from Second Life, commenting on my stuff. How is it that these people are able to target you so easily? Are you saying you just visit a random place and they turn up? It sounds as if there's some key point missing in this story. but when I'm sending out A LOT of abuse reports against these low lives griefers, Lindens are ignoring the reports. Some folks do the griefer thing to scratch an itch, others fill a void in their lives by appointing themselves sheriff and set about 'policing' SL by way of endless abuse reports. The point is that LOTS of people are bombarding LL with these things and they obviously can't appoint a minor taskforce to investigate all of the 'he said/she said' stuff, so give it time. Just keep documenting your encounters or whatever is going on and it will surely be helpful when they finally get around to kicking these guys in the butt.
  7. What was the problem? They suddenly decided you were not the right age? Somebody maliciously reported you? Telling your story in detail might help others..
