  2. The bot gives you a link to file a ticket, as with your previous tickets. You however did not actually submit a ticket. We are not mind readers. Kind Regards,Norsk(CasperTech Support)

  5. ok, this is beyond silly. " Scheduled Server Maintenance [Posted 3:17 PM PST, 25 November 2014] We will be performing additional scheduled maintenance on 26 November at approximately 1:00 AM PST. During this time, some residents may experience login issues and residents in-world may be logged off or experience degraded performance. Additionally, during this time Group Chat may fail. Please refrain from rezzing no-copy objects and making L$ transactions during this maintenance. Please check back here for updates." it is now 9:50PM SLT and still not resolved?? I contacted Live Chat and got told to 'just see when it's resolved on th GSP' and a friend contacted LC (they got a Linden) who confirmed it was indeed still going on. No copy items HAVE been lost so can not carry working on what was planned today and it's now 21 hours????

  7. The problem is however that this move alienates folk outside of the USoA, including Europe which already has stricter finance laws than the USoA. In addition, Lindex *only* works on US$ which is useless to most folk outside the USoA. So then the fees incurred increase dramatically since you have to use PayPal, who give a naff exchange rate (and charge you) to convert your money. And charge again to send the money to you (despite sitting on it for a few days) THEN also 5 working days for the transfer of YOUR money to PayPal (when surprisingly enough, you withdraw from PayPal to LL it happens straight away!). THEN add on the days for PayPal to transfer to your bank account. All these days, they are making profit from the interest on your money. I use Virwox, and I get the money in my bank account 2 working days after I've paid the terminal InWorld (1 day is the time for the direct bank transfer from their bank account in a different country to my own bank account). In my own currency. With only one small fee when I exchanged from L$. Fees:- Virwox 1 fee when transferring from L$ Lindex Fee (Lindex) to transfer from L$ to USD Fee (Lindex) to send to PayPal Fee (PayPal) to convert from USD to my own currency Fee (PayPal) to send to my bank account Time:- Virwox 2 working days from depositing funds InWorld Lindex 5 working days to send to PayPal 2 working days for PayPal to send to bank account (other countries are longer) Lindex HAVE to make real adjustments to how folk can withdraw. Including, but not limited to:- Availability of currencies other than USD (It is when all said and done just a trading market, and users are trading in Euros, GBP, AUS$ etc.) Ability to send direct to bank accounts in a timely fashion. IF they insist on using PayPal (a Third Party), they must send the money immediately (the same way they withdraw money from you to buy L$ immediately).
  8. if you log your chat, you can click the little box on right hand side to bring up past logs of chat with a certain individual (once you have an IM window with them open) top line, right hand side box (looks like a box with lines across)

  10. worked like a charm on one account, and a friend's account! Thanks!
  11. Kuro Bayn wrote: Before anyone suggests that I haven't searched, I have, for every word in the item's name. I selected keep, and I double checked it with my message history. As far as I know, once the item is delivered there is no lag after you select keep, so that doesn't seem like a viable excuse. I would contact the seller, but they're off of search. I sent a friend request, but I expect it to be dennied. So my first question is, will a ticket like this ever get answered, and secondly, is it possible for this to just be lag to a ridiculous extent? Usually a clear cache & re-log will work. Just go to a low lag area while inv re-loads. If the item is no-trans, a merchant will *usually* replace if that fails, but unless they are online, clearing cache & re-logging (sometimes takes a few attempts) will solve the problem.
  12. Was online a cpl hours ago and no problem. Trying to log-in now... 'despite our best efforts.... ya da ya da ya da' Tried assorted viewers (incl SLV2). Get a nice little link to check the grid status - nothing showing about issues. (No great surprise, it only usually seems to be updated once an issue is fixed) My connection is fine (able to access other websites and get up to date info) can't even get to log-in on SL web-site The connection has timed out The server at id.secondlife.com is taking too long to respond. Anyone else having 'issues' Sorry if wrong forum, since the 'new and improved' fora layouts, it's kinda unhelpful...
