Also, moving bodies has a cost. Depending on how far back your inventory goes, switching to Reborn or Legacy can be tough. When I got Legacy, my older Lara stuff was useless. I found out late that I could use the deformers. Folks here may be willing to help you tweak your Lara shape before you move to a new body.

Another un-mentioned benefit to Legacy is it comes with deformers to wear Lara 5.3 items. That brings the Venn diagram to bodies I have clothes for to almost a complete circle. I am on Lara X these days, but I may switch back and forth.

Legacy and Reborn are two different bodies. Legacy is the slimmer; Reborn a thicker shape. I am going to direct you to this thread where there is a lot of discussion on the two bodies. Edit: You can also get LaraX for free owning Maitreya. Some creators are making clothes for that body.

This is what I did this weekend. I needed to get out of my own head on analyzing the different bodies I have and just switched over to LaraX as best I can.

That's a fair point, and creators will make their decisions based off their own numbers. What I am curious as an aside, is how well Maitreya clothing sales stack up against other bodies? Does Maitreya's large install base translate to a large amount of sales, or do folks who use a body like Reborn also tend to spend more? As you said, Maitreya could take their toys home and there would still be no end of already existing content. Folks who don't want to move to LaraX certainly aren't going to run out of things to buy. I am mostly like this. I tend to dress soccer mom, but depending on the venue I might show something off. What I need are a lot of jeans, tank tops, etc. I tend to dress like I'd go out in RL public. I am waging an inner battle to switch to Reborn, but I do like Legacy with deformers can wear 5.3 items. I do like challenges so once I get more clothes I'll see how long I can go on LaraX.

Thanks. I messed around with the demo some more, and it does look like "Shape 3" is close to this one. The challenge if I switch is going to be shoes. I don't have a lot of Reborn shoes currently.

I was going to embed the image, but it shows a fair amount of bum bum. It is a good body, and I am also cognizant that I may be making a change for the sake of making a change, which isn't a good reason.

For anyone on the fence, Reborn is 25% off as part of the spring sale. As an aside, I wish body creators would post how they created the shape in the ad. Bloggers I get not sharing, but if this shape was one of the default shapes I'd likely get it. Or is it? It didn't, at least to me. It makes complete sense, and I don't get early on why creators are dumping 5.3, unless they just didn't see the sales numbers. I wonder what affect, if any, Reborn being the current body of the year for bloggers has on sales. In a year, dropping 5.3 I can see. But it's a new body and folks can't just change without the wardrobe in place. And moving away from what is likely a decade or more of clothes can't be done overnight. It's not cheap either. $25 in clothes for a few fat packs gets into real money fast, and may be there for most poeple already. Edit: and with the included deformers, it's possible to wear 5.3 stuff on Legacy, which helps me out a lot.

Which body is this? Reborn?

I checked out the demo this morning. It isn't bad, actually. It's a shape I can get behind: Reborn without the caboose. I might grab it while the sale is still ongoing. It was a little hit or miss on my Waifu rigged tops. I don't have a lot so the sample set is small.
