The person who replied to you said "only in anime" when you said "curves don't equate to prepubescent." While I'm backing up what you are saying, you're attacking me. I've literally been on your side a few times and you're trying to attack me constantly. Also, I backed up everything I said and even gave links.

Im not trying to attack you like seriously...

Very possible, but the "real world" isn't what actually matters here.  It is all about interpretations of avatar looks/actions and LL's policy.

"It is all about interpretations of avatar looks/actions" it isn't always again the real world does matter what kind of logic is that.

How is it not a grey area?

If an avatar gets reported for going to an Adult region and they appear like they might be RPing under 18, then LL has to do all sorts of research to determine if said avatar is truly RPing an under 18 person or if they just "sort of" look like it but all other actions indicate they are RPing over 18.

If an avatar appears as possibly under 18, then it is not clear cut and LL must do some analysis before making a decision.

Again LL won't give a toot if is a false report and false reporting people will do nothing

The reason "late teen" ages are discussed so much is because that is really the grey area in all of this.

It is almost always very obvious if someone is obvious.  However for anyone playing a child 15-17, it can be hard to distinguish them from folks playing an 18 yr old.  Where the person playing the 15-17 yr old must be in compliance of the child avatar policy, someone playing an 18 yr does not need to be in compliance with that policy.

I don't really see how there's a really a grey area there it wouldn't be obvious if they aren't playing that is playing a child 15-17 and how can it be be hard to distinguish them from folks playing an 18 year old? that's like saying that short adults shouldn't be able to enjoy things because they're short and that's discrimination all bodies are different We all have different genetics if everyone was the same then it would be boring.

I was being supportive. But if you feel a need to vent due to your concerns, that's awesome too. I hope you come to see that not everyone is against you, and some of your arguments may just be falling on "deaf ears" or those who don't and won't understand positive anime culture.

Well my only concern is that some people can't tell from fact or fiction some anime can have sci fi element's in it I think.

I think a lot of us "get it", you're coming from a different place. You and your creations are just fine, probably. I can't tell why you're being defensive anymore. Maybe whoever is arguing with you will settle down so you can stop worrying, nobody is threatening you and your creations if they don't look like children.

    Whatever.

  7. Peoples bodies can change  and people can grow even into their 20's

sometimes 25 it depends on the person some people can grow until they're like 19/20 sometimes

tbh idk are they bringing up teenagers so much

I think that's self projection people who probably are a pedophile

that's like saying 15 year olds and 18+ are the same.

It doesn't matter what anime caricature says. It's still not real. You can be an anime all you want, you can be an adult anime character all you want... but anime is still not real.

Again we know that anime isn't real why wouldn't it matter what anime caricature says it Caricatures are typically based on a specific person Caricatures are usually that.

I am an anime artist, I know they look unrealistic, I am a cartoonist. You're thinking I'm fighting against you, or attacking anime culture or saying they are child. I am not saying they are or not.

I am simply stating they're not real.

Have you ever heard of something known as a anime caricature?

It's not body shaming. You are using curves to imply that your avatar is age appropriate. All I'm saying, and I have not seen your avatar in person so this is not a judgement on your avatar, but to use the presence of curves in a female body to prove age is just erroneous. Curves in a female body simply indicates that the female has entered puberty or is post pubescent.

Curves doesn't automatically mean post pubescent again it depends on the person.

I've already addressed the issue of curves and age in more than one post. Unless you're putting on a lot of weight post age 18 or have given birth, you're shape is not going to be much different from the one you had at 15! And even if you have given birth and lost the weight put on during pregnancy the difference in your shape is going to be minimal. Weight is the difference not age!

Again that still doesn't address the issue not everyone would want children ngl this can come off as body shaming for some people.

Did you know, that the way you emphasize your text, it looks like this in Dark Theme? It's highly unusual, so I wanted to point it out. A lot of Forumites use the Dark Theme due to vision problems, etc.

Tbh I don't think really see any need to do that if people can see it clearly.

    your question makes no sense.

What I am saying is that none of them are actual humans, they are fiction characters that are 3D that we are controlling.

They just look like humans but they're not, they're a series of mesh created on a computer in a program.

Well some things in anime can be a exaggeration of real life thing's so the only reason it doesn't look realistic or looks fake is because it is a Exaggeration.
