Ok, it seems to have something to do with my "home" location. I cannot seem to log into my home location or last location so I moved to the other side of my house and reset home to here and now I can log in with no problems. Logging in from a map link does not work but I can TP to a map location once I get logged in.
I have had no problems logging into my dashboard on the web.

I have been getting the same 2 log homes for the past several days as well. Going to have to stop playing for a while and wait for them to be claimed.

I have done some more testing and have ruled out my internet connection. I have tried it on 3 different networks in 3 different areas of town and have the same problem. It is also not the Firestorm or LL viewer as both have the same problem. It is not the computer as I have tried 3 different desktops as well as my laptop, same issue. My alt is experiencing a delayed log in but it seems to work every time but my main can only connect after about 5 to 10 tries. I tried logging into several different sims and have the same issue. At first I thought it was some issue with the map because if I tried to log in with a link from the map, it would not work but it seems to have gotten worse and now I just cant log in at all.

Yeah, none of my sub folders have more than a few hundred items in them. My objects folder gets large after the free gift events but that's all sorted down at the moment. Once I finally get logged in after several attempts, it will be ok for a while. It seems really bad after I have been logged out for at least a couple hours. And also might be related to the map issues they're having although my alt doesn't have any issues logging in from a map link.

I wouldn't go THAT far. There are some things and places where it is not appropriate to be nude. You're generally ok around your house but be considerate of others at events and such.

I'm having the same issue. It will work after several tries. It's not my internet connection either, as I have tried it at work with the same results. It seems to be related to my avi as I created an alt and he has no problems.

It will actually open in Firestorm and attempt to connect but wont. Then I won't be able to connect to anything until I log an alt to home and then quit Firestorm and log my main back in.

I have been having problems with this as well. I can't click a slurl on the web based map anymore, it won't connect. I have to log in and manually go there.

You can't donate land to another avi, just to a group you are in. Also, you have to have land donation rights within that group. I would be very careful doing that however, unless you are the owner of that group, you may not ever get that land back especially if you have a falling out with the group. I would carefully consider why you want to donate your land instead of using it yourself.

I use the 5 second rule generally but I have to beat my dog to it. This only applies to my house though. If it falls on the floor of the mens room at the Chevron station, then nope.

I thought about following @Marianne Little's idea and putting a bit of beach under it but I've used up most of the LI already so I think I'll have to pass. Even though it's my alt who owns the house, the style is more mine than his (he usually goes medieval or gothic, both of which would look pretty silly in here). This one is very similar to how I've decorated my separate mainland beach-home. I am now very tempted to put that one on stilts.
I have to say though, my favourite so far is @Nando Yip's retro-future mancave.

I had the same problem. It seemed to have something to do with my home location. Once I was finally able to log in, I re-set it to the other side of my house and the problem went away. Don't know if that will work for you but you could try it.
