On my normal avi, no reaction for the most part when I'm in normal clothes, but my scary clown avi gets everything from rude clown hate comments to love the clown!!

I enjoy exploring the parcels.  I got lots of decorating ideas from several houses. 

Slenderman hid his bucket pretty well and I only found it by accident but it was cool looking around his place.

I use the Sparx Land Hud to search for abandoned land.  It only shows 1 sim at a time so you still need to move around the grid.  I usually fly at around 500m to avoid the stupid ban lines and search for the purple spots.  (Purple is that color used for abandoned land)

I love Halloween!  We have costume parties and contests at work, I decorate my RL Home with all manner of spooky stuff and lights.  In SL, I have a couple parcels all done up. One parcel build, a cemetery, came out pretty cool and I have a few scary avatars to run around in......

2 years ago, in RL, I put on my Reaper costume and sat real still in a rocking chair in front of my house.  I would look straight ahead and when the kids would get real close to see if I was real, I would dart my eyes at them.....LOL, scared the crap out of several kids and almost got punched by a couple dads....lol

I love the ones that have several conditions that you have to meet in order for them to talk to you.  Those always make me laugh.

Yeah, I have been having the same problem.  I have been trying to join a group but the person sending the invite is on the other side of the world and not online when I am and I am not online when they are.  Very frustrating.
