I wish the forums became a place comfortable to everyone.
Granted. The forums are comfortable to everyone but they are so comfortable everyone falls asleep. (Maybe they play better together after a nap)

Granted. But you didn't read the small print, and that piece was photographed actually magnified 100 x so you get an itty bitty tiny item that is no use, not even as an ornament.
I'm wondering what you wanted from Etsy now

I wish my cooker was properly connected by an electrician already, so I could cook dinner using three pans instead of making do with the microwave.
Granted! Your cooker is properly connected by an electrician but it has to be connected TO the electrician. I am not even going to tell you where you have to plug him in....
I wish I didnât have to work tomorrow.

Granted! You are married to Jeff Goldblum but not the actor. Your new hubbies hobbies include playing bingo on Thursdays, collecting toothbrushes, breeding snails and living with his mum.

Granted. You have kept the gardens of everybody in your neighbourhood immaculately tidy as well as your own, but you are duty bound to continue with this task forEVER, even during rain, sleet, snow even.
I wish I had spent more time in world yesterday than on these forums.
Granted, you spent more time in world yesterday than on forums but you spent it teaching an SL beginner class called, âHow to attach Your FreenisâÂ

I am the wrong person to come along to corrupt your wish.Â
ÂGranted.
ÂYou realized that you werenât wearing underwear and you sat down anyway. You sat down for all to see all of you because you now vow to explore the raunchy side of things. You also took a sharpie for some reason and scribbled your number on the safari park portapotty wall.Â

I should have used my sharpie to draw panties instead of my phone numberđÂ
You wish there was a naughty exorcist you could see to drive the demons out of you, granted. It is your lucky day, I happen to be an exorcist (weekends only) *Drives the demons out of you but fills you up with televangelists and runs away* I wish I didnât need to sleep.

@Lindal Kidd You have a sailboat and are on it in Antigua but you are sitting between a naked Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un.
I wish I had realized I wasnât wearing underwear before I sat down (in a skirt) on a dock at the the safari park desperately trying to use my underwear âapplierâ which was actually a color hud.

I suggest You Tube videos. I am nerdy I guess, but before I get into any game (itâs a game to me right now, maybe that will change), I look at forums, reddit groups and You Tube. I always find loads of helpful information on anything I have questions about.
I found plenty of info on mesh avatars, what bodies, skins and heads people prefer and what have issues or poor support. It made it so much easier for me to put together my avatar. I understand your frustration.Â
In regards to other issues there are plenty of people in forums that go to great lengths to be helpful. I had a small issue and found that to be true.Â

I am fairly introverted so it isnât the hardship for me that it is it is for some.  I am an artist and I love to read, so I can entertain myself pretty easily. I work from home. Since I joined SL I have found plenty to learn, I am thinking about doing some blender tutorials. The being home part I absolutely love, the reason for it, no.
I am planning for the new normal, how I can help, what I can do to make this ânew worldâ better. I plan on getting rid of a lot of what I have, sharing what I can, cooking and baking for friends who are in need and encouraging as much as possible. I am shy so a lot of mental preparation. I will mourn those we lost and try to think of this as a new start and a chance to be better. I feel hopeful.

I bought this dress from "ello" last week; it's a small store and they don't have much to offer but this one is lovely, and it's only L$10.

All of the above suggestions are pretty good. I particularly recommend Ison. But they, nearly all of them, range from the conservative to the . . . uh, not so conservative, so you obviously need to be selective.
Another solution that works sometimes, depending upon the garment, is to buy a few applier pieces (or, better still, newish, good quality system clothing if you are set up for BOM) to wear under things that might otherwise be more revealing than you are comfortable with. You can get some nice camisoles, body suits, tees, leggings, and such that will often look good under mesh clothes. That way, you can still get that lovely shirt that is unbuttoned to the navel, and not feel that you are flashing the neighbourhood.
Another solution that is more hit-and-miss, but that sometimes works, is to get a loose-fitting mesh cardigan, jacket, or coat that will fit well over something else. I have, for instance, a fairly bulky leather biker's jacket from Coco that can often throw over something that I like, but that shows more side-boob or bum cleavage, or whatever, than I really want.
Or, yeah. You can be a hamster! Just watch out for those male hamsters: they can be pigs.
Thank you so much, good advice. I ended up with a small Grumpy Cat avatar for shoppingđ

I am learning to terraform my beach and plan on working on my little place most of the time I am on SL. When I leave my house I donât feel like all my pixel parts need to be hanging out. I already had some convos I had no interest in having. Where can I find clothes somewhere between âhalf-nekkidâ and âHave you accepted Jesus as your personal savior?â Idk, maybe I should put on a hamster avatar for leaving the house. đ
