"This month (October), it is Breast Cancer Awareness. My mother was first diagnosed with breast cancer. That was one of the worst days of my life since she was my friend, my rock, and the only person in the world that truly loved me unconditionally. She had the operation and went into remission. Unfortunately, not all cells were caught and it spread into her body to finally find a home in her pancreas. I lost her 3 years ago, which still feels like yesterday." Read more on the blog.

"Wow! It’s hard to believe it’s been over a month since my last official blog post. I won’t say the break wasn’t nice. I had been moving along full steam ahead since the spring, so the breather was very nice…especially with all that’s been going on in real life.
