Yes, I've noticed some better response in many of the sliders (especially eye depth, though not where I'd like it to be, yet) And I think the back side has been tweaked some so more hair fit better (though that hair could be made better as well).

As for the neck seam: I select GLAM skin then turn the opacity down to 10% - that seems to help it go as invisible as possible. The issue is that the materials and specular go all the way to the bottom of the neck when it should "fade" - and since it's not the same mesh as your body, there will be that "mismatch" in specular and materials, etc.

Of course, in my case, I *could* just unhide my collar LOL

Oh boy so now I need more slider work?   *sighs*.............good job I enjoy it so much haha!

PS....Brilliant advice!!!! just set Glam skin at 10% and a definite improvement!!!!!!!!  Really pleased!!xxx

New Genus Head update today; it's Christmas on Halloween!  :)

Which, of course, means new profile pixies!

I've been adding the updates, but I'm not noticing much difference???? Have you spotted anything?? The neck join is improved but not invisible yet, maybe I need to work harder at it!!

  4. Anyway.........somebody mentioned CoCo, and how they had gone and bought six outfits............

Never mention unmentionables when I'm around.........Yeah I hadn't been there for a while.......and like, I couldn't resist dropping in, and breaking my no spend rule again....haha!

Yeah so I got a couple of lace tops and a pink fur jacket, but best of all...........wait for it..........a riding jacket.  Yeah - me - a riding jacket!!! haha!  Haven't been near a horse in years, and never in SL, but I'm smitten by this look.........what a perfect fit!!!!!

Not with jodphurs obviously but with Blueberry leather pants and heels.......haha!

  5. I crashed out twice earlier but logging back on was faster than normal for some reason. But rezzing has been slow all day.

So not much different to a normal session. I don't use Firestorm. Thats for the future laptop.

Me too  -  :D - and the whole look and feel of the movie for that sake...

But I have been naming my properties in Second Life "LaLaLand" from before that movie was made - since about 2008 i guess.

Definition of la-la land  from Merriam-Webster: a euphoric dreamlike mental state detached from the harsher realities of life
    - sounds a bit like SL, does'nt it ;)

Sounds a bit like my relaxed state in RL when I can achieve it....................

  7. There's a place for both. In the beginning I didn't realise that you could shop in world, so my early days were spent fumbling around the Marketplace, trying to understand what would fit what Avi.  They were valuable times, I made mistakes but that's great for learning.

Then a newbie advisor took me to an in world store, and my eyes were opened to this huge potential. I was addicted from that day, and love the experience of exploring stores in world.

My only issue is that it can be hard to find some stores in world without help, which is why I asked questions here, on the forum, and was given lists of places to go......................

Now most of my shopping is in world, but if you know exactly what you want, a Marketplace search on the item or the seller can be quicker than searching the store.

Somewhere here or in another forum far, far away the subject of Dr. Who came up. I mentioned that I had never seen an episode. Well, I'm seeing one now! Amazon Prime has 12 seasons beginning 2005. The Doctor is Christopher Eccleston. I've already decided to give it a good try, just barely into the first episode ("Rose"). Got me hooked as he is shooing Rose out the door saying, "Go have your lovely beans on toast.". I think I'll like this.

That was the relaunch series. Eccleston was brilliant but walked away after one series.  Then it got better..............

  9. Why do they think such chat will lead to anything other than total failure?????  I just don't get that at all.

In SL a guy can hit up a girl without anyone around knowing, so no embarrassment at being rejected, but they still don't understand the word charm...............

Or is it simply that guys think its a game so they dispense with niceties?????  I dunno, its baffling.

How many total failures does it take before they realise???????

I keep being drawn back to your image Anya. It's a remarkable image anyway, but it highlights really well what can be achieved on a Lelutka head with some effort!  A while ago when I was looking to go mesh I tried  few Lelutka heads, and the only one I liked was Simone.  Quite soon I'll be looking to mesh head my Alt.  I already have a few Lelutka demos, and your image has really inspired me that I can do better this time around!! Sorry to be a bit gushy, but I'm encouraged to get on with my Alt more than ever now!!!
