I was given a good tower with a 500gig hard drive and 4 gig memory. Has Radeon 9600 graphics card. SL recommended Radeon 9500 or better .But when I try to install and run, it days update graphics driver. Everything is fully updated. Since my card is better than recommended, why is it doing this

The card this temporary machine has is a Nvidia Riva TNT2. Also,is there a way to message residents here on SL, without be online?

Where can I find a version of the SL viewer that would work on an old Windows XP computer ,has an older Nvidia graphics card. I am having to use it till my other machine is fixed.

For the past day and a half a good number of My folders are unable to open. They usually have a white"arrow" beside them. I have several that do not, is SL doing some kind of maintenance? My internet is working flawlwssly, and cleared My Firestorm viewer cache yesterday What is going on here????

Noticed this morning when I logged on, some of My inventory folders are not fully loading ( nothing showing in them). Is this some kind of SL issue that they are experiencing?

When I logged on this morning I was just an orange cloud, and received a pop up "could not put on an outfit, folder does not contain body parts or attachments" What is going on, more maintenance of some sort??

I used the Tuscon Az location, My results are : Ping:72 ms Download speed: 13.42 MB Upload speed: 1.59 MB My current bandwidth is set at 500 Kbps, I am running 15MB high speed cable internet. Should I rase My bandwidth?

When I am in a crowded sim, I see this in white lettering, in the lower right corner of My Firestorm screen #textures discarded due to insufficient memory. After that a number appears, from 1-going as high as 6 before it crashes What causes this and how can I resolve this? I lowered My draw distance from 128 to 96, it has helped some. When I am in a non crowded place, or at home I have no problems I run Viata home, and My graphics card and computer's memory are well withing specs

I checked My script info, shows I am running 201/201 scripts, How do I find out what they are,and what do I need to do,to turn un needed ones off? My avatar is a system one

I was finally able to TP to another region, and My avatar fully appeared, and all My inventory items came back. Waht caused this, was it part of some region restarts? If so, I have never had it affect My avi loading or My inventory

I also tried re installing the version I have 4.6.9.42974. Still having the above mentioned issues
