It's possible that some would see the new homes appearing and want one, but the ones who have left this life - there will be some - won't.

I don't think that the old housing area will ever empty, and the Lab can't force them.

To be fair, people who wear Belleza do see their hands posed properly. It's just that every one else sees them splayed out.

It would make sense to do an Omega for the body. I did one and it's not hard. The end user has a small cost to buy the vendor you set up, but the process itself is very simple.
We will likely see BOM before June 2019, so doing an onion skin might not be worth it.
If any one using your body ask for tattoos advide they can apply the tattoo to a second body and wear 2 copies. This does work, I used the technique for ages. It's just manual onion-skinning

If you are selling at 251 at this time there is a 7 to 8 hour delay.
I normally count on 3 hours per million.
You would need to sell at 252 to get it inside 10 minutes or so.
The error message "transfer could not complete" is weirdly worded at best, I've noticed that when you sell at your linden balance isn't zeroed immediately. If you try to repeat it, you see that message.

Why not just give a randomly chosen 512 home for 45 days, gratis, full stop. One per email address.
Why make people pay at day 1? Put the hook in their mouths and then at 45 days, show them premium.

Logically.
If we started playing SL in 2006 when we were 18 or in our 20s we are now in our 30s. Most of the experienced residents will now be (well) over 30. People who were 40 when it started are now close to 60!
Some new players will be young but as less and less people join the game, these younger people are rarer.
The population has aged along with the game. We have seen a lot of our friends pass away through disease, accident, or old age - just like real life.

All of what Skell said. Get a lot of demos from various places and starting from the included shape find the one that seems closest to you and work from there. Expect to spend half a day/a day on each. Pay attention to the HUD and included animations. Also make sure you can move both sides of the eyes, or you will end up looking weird.
Importantly, don't just look from the front, look from the sides - at least one brand has huge inbuilt ducklips on some of their heads. If you don't like ducklips then it's good to see early on before you invest money, time, and effort.
Skin also matters a lot, and of course, a new skin often means you need to make changes to the lips or eyes to rebalance the head.
On skin, make sure that the one you want is supported by the head, LeLutka skins won't go on Catwa. Some skins are Omega, but make sure that the head is Omega capable. (This will change in 3-6 months I guess as Bakes on Mesh is released by the Lab)
Ask lots of questions in the groups for the heads, or here. And take your time.
