You can work at some clubs in SL where they provide the stream. Starting your own radio station is a ton of work and money. And be careful about talking about pirating.... such activity is against the law and against SL T&Cs. I would recommend attending a DJ school.

I've recently started creating my own gestures - with or without animations. However, when I play the associated sound files (I use Audacity) the sound is quiet and barely heard, at least to my avi's ears. Would anyone be able to advise on what settings I should use in Audacity or SL when my finished sound file is ready to be uploaded and played in SL? I want to ensure a vibrant, well heard sound with my gestures. Thanks in advance for no snarky response. :) Kat Clifton

I would recommend that you invest in a good skin, clothes, makeup, hair, shoes, AO, etc. Most (if not all) clubs/venues/stores/modeling agencies/etc will not want you in a "newbie" skin and accessories. After you upgrade your avi, check out different cubs/stores/agencies/etc in SL and determine what interests you. There are places out there that require no experience - some good places. But you'll need to have the look of an experienced Avi to get the chance.

As a host in-world, I can tell you names with highly decorated fonts are a bish because I have to go to their profile, copy and paste their name, and then greet them. It adds extra steps and keeps me from paying attention to other guests in the club.

Did this sim's owner begin with the letter "D"? If so, it's possible he blocked you because he STOLE all the "donations" and rental fees from a sim he shut down. The sim, name withheld, had vans you could rent to sell your gacha items.

Just a friendly word of advice to not put down or bad mouth current/past employers. No sense burning your bridges behind you.

Most places that you work in-world will want you to have a decent looking avatar (no default avatar that you get when you first joined) with hair,shoes,clothes. So consider investing in a nice avatar (it doesn't have to cost a lot) with some nice accessories. Then... search the classifieds employment and wanted postings. You could probably start with some modeling (doesn't pay much) to get started. Go visit some of these places that have jobs posted and get an idea of how the job works. That's how I got started in hosting after nearly 8 years in-world. I observed, I researched and I didn't present myself as a total neophyte when I submitted apps. Just like in RL have an idea of what you're getting into before you get into it. Such behavior presents a much better packages overall. And remember.... these are RL businesses that just happen to take place in a virtual environment. Always be professional. Hope this helps!

That's exactly what I meant. If I create 12 kitties in teacups for each month and make 3 rare, well then I create my own supply and demand. I dunno. It seems like fun to try.

OK tyvm. I have been checking out yard sales but really have no idea yet how this all works. It just seems fun. And to mark an item "rare" when I've seen it at 5 other yard sales was confusing to me. I mean... I can put 10 items in a GACHA and make 1 rare with the script inside. So.... I guess it's all relative. Thanks for your input.

Well I'm not totally sure either. Do I just buy a machine and load it up with transferrable "prizes?"

Hello SL'ers! I've recently discovered GACHA after 8 years in-world. I had heard of it before but didn't pay much attention. Now a SL family member is really into GACHA and I want to learn more.
