Hi, I am throwing a private party, and so far the standard stuff Dancing, outfit/costume contest, mixer dance, but would appreciate some other fun ideas for private parties.. games easily played, we do have bowling any idea is appreciated.

I need an English Speaking DJ that not only can introduce songs, but has the ability to make it fun and get people in the mood to party! I will audtion you ... Needs to have all the stuff necessary for streaming and voice. I will pay well plus the DJ can have his tip jar out as well.. If the performance is good may get an additional tip from me. My list of clubs or venues that have decent amount of avatars 24/7 is pretty short, I would like to find expand my list. I like rock, blues, most decades rock, pop, country western, latin, R&B (not rap).. don,t like techno, club mix, If club usually 24/7 has 10+ real active not bot avatars, please list. Currently I go to Muddys, Big Daddys, Blackhearts, Ohanas, Wet Willies, Fogbound. Any help is appreciated

Hi, I am looking for good motion capture dances that run 30 to 60 seconds for my dance hud. should be -realistic as possible -smooth looping so it doesn't look like dancer is returning to beginning of dance -nice big selections of dances -need dances that either look unisex or is unisex, as my friends and I dance often as a group on my hud. thank you

The reason your problem is on both viewers is either computer or modem, usually a bandwidth problem. Turn off your computer and reboot your modem and router if you use both, when the signals (lights) then turn on your computer. Also you might have issues if too many people in your house are using up the bandwidth, like someone is streaming movies or playing online games on different computer while you are on SL. So I'm finally at a point in my SL where I want to become a business owner in SL, specifically land rental and sales, I have the $RL wherewithall to get started, been watching learning picking up tips, etc, then I read about SL 2. so far there is no info on what business and land owners will get as a transfer or if anything in SL2, I don't want to be buying up cheap land on the titantic? How are experienced land rental/sales people viewing this, and should I hold off. I hate having a negative cash flow in SL easily reduced or eliminated with some business (land) investment.

Also as you said it's old, the hair strands are thick chunks. I am hopeing to find some thing with finer more natural hair strands. One problem, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000, and present, this hair style has stood the test of time, MANY celebrity hunks wear this style both young and old. I happen to be older and it feels comfortable for me. BTW short hair is back in style with with some accents, guess that is 40s,50s, yet seems to be very popular.

The property I have uses for parcel dividers and privacy, huge rock walls with waterfalls, there are multiple waterfalls (very large and the water is streaming straight down into a tiny pool at the base. I need a mist script that can be adusted to for width depth & height of the midst (I guess intensity or particle density would be good too). I have a mist script but it only is for one small area, looks great, but I can't stretch it. As always any help is appreciated..

One of the problems of beeing a noob is knowing proper nomenclature or terms to search on or describe a problem. I unlinked a ramp style bridge from prefab house.. and discovered that I all the pieces were not linkied together, The pieces are: - the visible sides - the visible walk covering -hidden transparent solid prim When I I leave the visible pieces without the phantom setting, instead of walking on the visible part the avatar is floating on the bounding box. So I set the visible pieces to phantom and it the avatar looks like it is walking on the bridge. Linking the parts, as soon as I do that for storage and reuse on another area, the visible parts set to phantom lose thta phantom characteristic. How do I link phantom pieces to non phantom? I know this is common but looking for simple resouces on how to properly do this, and hopefully easy way.

1st I am complete noob on any kind of usage of edit & build, My parcel is tropical and I am landscaping, creating streams and mounds, the parcel is all sand.. I want to have a mixture of sand and grass. I was told there might be a script that if I create a grass prim and put it on the ground then edit terrain, so if I raise the land to a mound the grass texture would form to it. If such a script isn't available I need a link to builders kit of landscapting moulds of mounds and blank landscaping structure I can add texture to, they need to be solid I would prefer people walk up on the mound or hill etc.

Hi... Someone who has been in SL 7 years told me if an alt is deleted, that the owner has 30 days to reactivate, before permanently deleted. Is this true? Thank you

I am frustrated.. I save my shapes with heights I have set i.e. kevin-medium build- 2.30 (2.30 is height).. lately the the height will change.. How I setup my avatar is I used a base naked guy (with undies), set the shape, so in the above it will be that shape and then save with new outfit name,, then start adding clothing.. when I am done I save one final time.. I alwasy check the height after I am finished.. but I can come back later and the height is changed..the shape is the same shape. For example on one 2.30 shape and outfit .. the height was 2.22 ... Is there a proper way to setup a avatar.. something I am missing.. I save all my outfits each in separate folder with a one click and I am dressed with all accessories..etc.

I am interested in knowing what the average male height is in SL. I am thinking of a make over and adjusting my current 2.22m up slighlty. Some think that is too short, not sure why 7.28 feet is way above average RL human height. Any help is appreciated..

Venus, we are not all the same, some are more adept at managing friends and those relationships. I can honestly say, it is offensive to me if I am giving 100% of my attention to someone, concentrating on whatever we are doing, and then discover that that my total focus is not shared, that pauses are answers to other IMs or whatever. If in RL I can turn off my cell phone, not check my emails, and spend concentrated time watching a movie, spending time with a lover, etc, or whatever I choose, why doesn't that translate to SL. I am developing business contacts in SL, and would like to confine communication to specific hours. I can say that, one special friend gets irrated that I pause our IM and the associated train of thoughts while I take time to respond to the business contact. It easily can ruin a mood or more.

what would you suggest if notecard isn't appropriate for sending out invitation with image and location link?
