    No I agree that it is more than "Interesting" as from what I was told they will be trying out Linux OS at least from what I seen before. But we will see, as I will ask my Estate Owner to switch over my region to test out this version. But, lets keep an eye on this for sure.:D

    Folks, as I do work in the forum/website industry I can tell you why IPB decide to remove the online indicator from public view. Mainly because it is not much of an importance anymore, but for some folks they do disagree. As we would like to know if a user or Linden is online sure, I am sure in the near future this will be added in an IPB update but for now folks just use the online status page/user card or Linden Labs is welcome to add a plugin that has been wrote up to allow folks to see the online indictors like some other pieces of software (Xenforo, vBulletin, MyBB, etc) show on their software still.

    GACHA FOREST - Hiring Staff (Pays)

    Gacha Forest is an upcoming new monthly gacha event for many residents like you. We are looking for a few awesome, creative, and hard-working people to help out with our managing our monthly events. Check out the positions that we have open below:

    - Landscaper - Responsible for landscaping the region up for events, seasonal changes, and regular landscaping in other areas of the region.

    L$1,300/monthly <-- ONLY during events

    L$600/monthly <-- ONLY during off-season

    - Decorator - Responsible for decorating different parts of the region (ie: telehub, tenant locations, walkways, etc).

    L$800/monthly <-- ONLY during events

    - Event Coordinator - Responsible for regular events that go on at Gacha Forest along with advertising about our upcoming events.

    Requirements: 

    - Team Player - Must be able to work with a team.

    - Maturity - Don't be childish, this is all for fun.

    - Creative - Must be rather creative, rather it be knowing how to decorate a simulator, parcel, etc. (Atleast make it look presentable)

    - Activity - Must at least be able to provide a few hours a day to work around Gacha Forest, if able to, provide a lot more during monthly events.

    Please note: This is a payed position but will be based on an monthly bases (You will have to clock-in when you're working) as all staff will be payed at the end of every monthly event and during our off-season.     I would suggest trying a different viewer to see if you experience this issue at all, if so you need to report it to Firestorm Viewer and Second Life's Support Portal. It ether sounds like a region issue or viewer issue. So contact the appropriate communications channels so they can look into what is going on.

    Having just one page that shows you what event happens where in your region when is a dream.

    One extra request, allow us to put repeating events in that calendar, we have events in our sim that happen every single day and putting that on the calendar manually would be hellish.

    I like it, I will add it to the issue.

    East River Community looking for tier donors

As soon as I bought the land in Helvellyn I began returning Indigo's builds and replacing them with a little more modern mesh builds in the same theme and feel. If you ask most people what is important to them about the ERC it is the look and feel of this historic area. It is important to me too. The ERC was founded as a federation of land owners, but always had the issue that Indigo Mertel was the majority land owner. This needs to change, the ERC needs to become a federation like it was meant to be.

    This is what we are offering now. We have a lot of land still available.

    - ERMA (East River Municipal Airport) a small airport located in Brooks sim

    - Muirhead Village - Located in Muirhead sim this area has quite a few rental homes and a large garden area

    - Helvellyn Village - Located across the East River from Helvellyn town this area has rental homes and a vast garden.

    - Hardknott area - This is mostly undeveloped land with a wind farm, vast forest area, and a home.

    - Whinlatter Fortress - An old fortress right on a head water, amazing place for rental homes or any number of installations!

    Among other areas.

    I am looking for "investors" that are willing to come in and buy these lands and become part of the ERC. The people I am looking for will want to build something in theme and help preserve this area. For instance, someone coming in and buying up the rental homes in helvellyn and erecting a super modern home on the water front it NOT something we are interested in. However, for the right people I am willing to sell them the lands they would like for $L0, FREE (of course LL tier still applies)

    New River Family Roleplay Community - Looking for a Fire Chief

    Hello there,

    The community of New River is looking for a permanent fire chief to form it's local fire department. Those who apply must relate to the requirements below:

    - Must be active most of the time, this includes during regular roleplay events, community events, and community meetings.

    - Must be able to run his/her fire department professionally without any issues, this includes being realistic during every aspect that goes on with his/her department.

    - Must be able to provide his owner gear, trucks, crew etc. (Trucks can be provided by the community if needed..)

    - Must be respectful, kind, and wise with every encounter of community visitors, residents, etc.

    - Must be flexible with station prim limits, structures, etc.


    Please note: All of those who apply will be interviewed with the community owners before a decision is made on which applicant goes best with the position. That applicant will then be able to pick his Assistant/Deputy Chief whenever but that said person will be under observatio by the Community Owners.
