  1. Here in Tokyo 🗼 it's almost 10 am already on the first, and I am waiting bored for everyone to be dressed and ready to go to the shrine.

We celebrated with the whole family, and we watched the first dawn of the year, it's a meaningful thing here but I think not many other cultures care that much for it haha

We had a lot of food and fun ... Karaoke all night and I can't wait for getting our lucky charms at the shrine now.

I never spent new year, in SL in all my 15 years x3

  2. Maybe stalk some photographer you like on Flickr and ask them if they would take your wedding pics ? I really honestly have no clue if there are "real" wedding photographers in SL but I can imagine there are x3 I mean there are things like modeling agencies etc inworld so I bet you maybe could use search for one?

I am useless with the wedding places since I only ever partnered my RL husband in SL so we never did big SL wedding...RL was expensive enough 😂 but I visited some SL weddings back then and so I know there are a lot of wedding venues out there.

Depends on how much time you guys have left until "the" date I bet you can find a nice place by TP ing around to those venues and have a look at them 😊

  3. I logged in after some really stressful days at work (working at a children's hospital is insane this time of the year)with much to less sleep, and this made me smile instantly.

I got a cute little note card and some $L it's so cute to do this 🥰 I don't interact much in SL with people anymore beside my RL friends and family, so this is extra special to me🐥

╰(⸝⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝⸝)╯ Thank you so much, for spreading some festive glitter sparkles of love with me  💕

  4. I personally like the lighthearted jokes in here but really people are wondering why many leave the forums?

I see so many posts where the OP gets ridiculed by the same regular people.

And not many people can take jokes that good, and even if the questions might seem weird to us personally we maybe should refrain from making fun of those people and dragging those jokes over endless posts.

Usually it's one serious answer in those threads, and 5073 sites of "hAha sO stuPid"

Although I do enjoy reading them on my train ride to work, I am not surprised personally why so many others don't bother with the forums much.

Actually that's not how it is.

All of my tenants are bothered by these B**** bots and made complaints to me thinking that these avatars are stalkers.

So my first thought was to allow Region access only to those who have payment info.
The problem is that by doing so, potential customers who don't have such info can no longer enter my region to rent
and also friends or visitors of my tenants who also won't have pay info can no longer visit.

I understand that i have to tolerate whatever Linden Lab policies say even if some are pure nonsense according to me
but what i don't understand is why do i have to tolerate and accept your "data collection" bots that make my customers
nervous, especially since those are clearly violating the "Account policies" that Linden Lab fails to enforce.

(personally idgaf what kind of data you collect cause i consider SL a game BUT money is money and those people pay me)

Yeah maybe it's time for LL to add a new thing like "Don't allow automated avatars" for parcel and region access settings. But I can also imagine this one would be pretty tricky to do for LL. (・_・;)

  6. I would first go and get a redelivery of the body and unpack a new one! ( ◜‿◝ )♡

And also check that you are not wearing any mesh nails that are maybe for another body. (I switch bodies quite often for blogging XD and sometimes I forget to wear the correct nail size)

seeing how many posts there are about bots invading peoples "spaces" it's severe bothering in my opinion.
For example, several people blocked open access to their land or region for it. That's quite "bothering" for fun of somebody that has as goal "some" fun.

Exactly. Bots like that are the reason our parcels have ban lines up now, and a massive blocklist. And we have an orb that instant bans everyone. So many bots are banned already. LL should start to act on those bots pretty quick before people stop bothering with own land in second life and eventually stop using SL in whole. As I once said on another thread, there should ALWAYS be a link in the bots profile to the main account and they should list the data they collect or a link to a website, and also LL needs an application process, where bot owners need to apply for a bot license, and need to explain what they are trying to achieve with said bots.

LL has quite some rules for us residents (and that's good) but they let the bots and bot owners run free and wild as they please?

  8. I was like "aww why can't plus members don't have a 512 linden home" either when I first read the post but...really it's the residents fault, when I see how perverted some people play game of homes as they call it they probably didn't wanted to give those people a cheap option x3

and why no premium sandboxes? Because they are premium, and they are one of the most liked perks by many premium residents, so taking that away from the premium plan, would ruin their own business model ;)

  9. I think this is awesome, I am premium plus but I have some RL friends that do not play that much but always wanted to be able to OWN mainland not just rent from someone ^ ^ I told them about it (because this post was in English and both are only speaking japanese) and they went right away to get it ^ ^ so yay :D

I was just saying that because it had worked for someone in the thread that I got the information from.. Which makes sense to me, because the inventory structure isn't there to load during login and loads after we are already logged in..  Now I'm curious how that would stop you from still being able to log in when there is no inventory structure.

I wonder why it would work for someone and not someone else.. Maybe  it's dependent on how bad one inventory is  compared to another or something.. Maybe more than one flat section in an inventory or maybe it's a really big one or something.. I wonder if the level makes a difference..

    Was yours pretty bad?

ETA: I also owe you an apology.. I misread your first post about this.. I mistook it as you saying "Nothing a clear cache would fix"  When you actually said "Probably Nothing that a clear cache would fix".. So for that I apologize.. The misunderstanding is all on me.  It was early in the morning and sometimes when I'm groggy i can read things different than what they were meant to be..:$

You asked if mine was bad...420k unsorted items bad XD I never sorted my inventory before that day, I rarely deleted demos and so on ...almost 15 years of blogger inventory mess lmao a Linden had to run the script twice on my inventory and I was only able to login into the premium sandbox, after that and needed to sort my inventory for a week straight lmao ( But clearing cache then finally helped at this point but I had to clear my cache everytime I logged in) I deleted around 100k demos XD and now have folders in folders in folders ... I was lucky that my hubby helped me with sorting otherwise I would just have cried and made a new avatar 😆

If it is a problem with there being a long load time that, times out because of a big or flat inventory structure.. That can be a problem with multiple viewers, since the inventory structure is going to have to load with each of them.. A Clear cache could work, since it doesn't have an inventory structure to load anymore.. The inventory would be loaded after the login.

If it did work, they would have to fix the structure issue once they were in, otherwise it is more than likely still going to happen.. That is, if the inventory structure is even the problem.

As I mentioned ...flat inventory...I had one myself so I know what I'm talking about.#Spoiler... No the cleared cache won't always help, with logging in, in that case ;)

  12. She said she already tried that, and different viewers means it's probably nothing a clear cache will fix either. Try restarting your router, and check the internet speed if it still persists if your inventory is very big this can happen, when it's slow. And contact support for further questions the guys there are very good at their job. Maybe even your inventory is flat than this would happen too, and Linden would need to help you fix it.

  13. Yep, and it's a lifesaver lol for my job alone ... everybody there has 3 email addresses, one for outside, one for colleagues, one for the patients and I also have one for my students/interns. Keeps things sorted you think? It's still messy like hell but saves a lot of time x3 here everyone at work uses one, otherwise we would just be sorting emails instead of working 😂
