Hey All, I did a clean install a couple of days ago to upgrade to the newest version of Firestorm, but was not able to back up my settings first. Now I can only teleport with links inworld with no problem; but with links in email or through the marketplace, I cannot teleport any longer. Can someone give me the instructions or point me in the direction of where to find the instructions to fix this please? Thank you! Red52

Thanks for your offer to help, Trinity, but it is not a linked door problem. I had my landlord look at it a couple of days ago; he thinks its a sculpty that's not showing up possibly. He recommended an object scanner. I found an inexpensive scanner in the MP, however, it did not identify the invisble prim. Not sure if its worth it to buy a more expensive scanner now. I might try contacting the creator to see if he/she can help. Thanks to all for your ideas :-) Red52

Thanks, Trinity - however still cannot access these menus. I have since put up a new house, and once again - cannot find/ locate invisible prims on my parcel. Does anyone know of a group/ person or resource inworld that can help me learn how to work with mesh prims when modifying them? Thank you, Red52

Hi Kwakkelde - that would be my next question... I do think the build is partly mesh, and that's what is causing the problem. I have looked everywhere for the 'Develop menu' to check the steps you are suggesting, but cannot find it. I am using the latest Firestorm viewer - where would I find the Develop menu? Thanks! Red52

Hi Trinity - thanks for your reply. Walking through the front (and only) door is not the problem; it seems since I made the build larger, I cannot walk past the area where the original walls were. Red52

I am modifying an Inverse home (the Malibu), and unlinked all to make the home larger. Now I cannot walk through the bottom floor without hitting something/ invisible prim? I tried Cntrl-Alt-T yet nothing highlighted in red in this area of the house. Does anyone know what might be causing this and how I can fix it? I am using latest Firestorm viewer. Thanks! Red52

Hi dd - thanks for the tip, however I checked, and this part of the house is not near a sim edge. I am still trying to figure this one out.. I bought the house so I could copy/ mod without having to contact the landlord. Although the house says 'copy/ mod,' not all of the parts are modifiable. I wonder if this is because there are scripts in the house for lights, window shades, etc.? This attic space is strange.. I can put a TP pad up there and land on it without falling through. However, on any other prim, I fall through. Think I will have to contact the creator to see if this can be changed. Happy New Year! Red52

Hmmm... I tried using an extra prim from the house that I did not fall through, as the new floor for attic. Once I put in attic, I fell through it. There are parts of the house I cannot edit/ mod because the landlord owns it. I do not see 'phantom' selected for any of these prims I am falling through. Maybe it's something only the owner can see? Thanks Perrie- changing the landing point from the house seems to have done the trick. Now I realize what happened.. I also changed homes in the past week. The first house sat on the ground, and the second house sits up off the ground; I was apparently rezzing according to the placement of the first house :-) Many thanks.. now checking the prim issue.. Hi Perrie - no the floor prim I made is not set to phantom (just checked it.) I moved it out of the house yesterday to see if that made a difference- I am still falling through it. Could it be that the ceiling in the house (where I am trying to put the 'floor' above), that one side is set to phantom? The interior of the ceiling (that I can see in the room), will not allow my av to pass through it.

Hello, I am renting a parcel with a house provided by the owner. In the attic of the house is a space I would like to use, so I tried putting a 'floor' above the ceiling for this space. However, my av keeps falling through the prim I made for the attic floor. I don't understand why this is happening. How can I change this? Also - is this something the owner needs to change? Along the same lines - how do you reverse a part of a prim that is unseen or made to be phantom? Thank you! Red52

Hello- I have been renting a new parcel for about a week. For the past few days, when I log in, my av is rezzing under the house on my parcel. This did not happen when I initially rented this parcel. I am not able to change the landing point in the 'About Land' section, as recommended in the Firestorm wiki. Any suggestions? Thank you! Red52

Hi Muletta - thanks for your reply and info. Let me see if I can be a bit more clear on what I am trying to figure out: 1. Having a premium membership, I have a small home on a 512 sq.m. plot of land. I have not deeded this plot of land to a group. Is it possible to do that? (I do have a group that I created a while ago for rental elsewhere.) Is there any way to give a friend rezzing rights on this plot of land without deeding this plot to a group? 2. I have a larger rental parcel that is deeded to a group. In order for me to have friends access this larger parcel, I have to make them a member of my group. I am trying to now figure out how to set up rights for group members. I did figure out and list all rights for myself as owner, but don't want to give every member the same set of rights. Does that make sense? Thank you! Red52

Hi - I'm not sure if this is the correct place for these questions, so please let me know if I should post this elsewhere. I have a paid membership, and as a result, have a 512 sq. m. plot with a home on it that I really do not use. I also rent a larger parcel, where I am in the process of building & modifing a home. How can I give a friend the right to rez and/ or modify items on my smaller plot, but not give someone the right to modify objects on my larger parcel? Is that possible? Also - if a friend has rights to rez/ modify items on any parcel I might rent/ own, can that friend 'take' any of my rezzed items into their own inventory to keep as their own? Thank you! Red52

Hello- I recently upgraded to the most recent Firestorm viewer, and now cannot teleport to various locations by clicking on links on a separate page. (I can copy and paste the new location, and teleport that way, but prefer to be able to access links from other webpages. This also happened the last time I updated Firestorm- can someone help please, and also tell me how to avoid this with future updates? Thank you!
