So sick of child AVs in Adult zones. Skyboxes with kiddie stuff in. Thinking of setting myself up as a pedo hunter and effectively just hunt them out (before anyone starts, I'm not after your kid RP, as far as I'm concerned your weird hobby is your own so long as it's not stripping down and getting intimate).

No, because that would solve the issue and then they won't be able to have a gripe about it on the internet Never underestimate people's love of having a problem. As an aside, squatting was an objective of mine for ages. It *was* the game for me- find some land and rez a skybox on it. I don't think I would have made it so far to have spent so many L$ if I hadn't had that fun objective to begin with.

agreed, so long as people are conscious about trying to keep the lag down then squatters are welcome especially on linden abandoned land and at my place (if they're prim conscious). At the end of the day IT'S A GAME. People get so uptight and bothered about it but really, the more stuff on here to look at, the more people in the vicinity the more interesting it is.. unused land is the biggest threat to my own gameplay tbh

I suggest any sucker who wants to dance for hours at an empty club for no Lindens only to be verbally abused through IM when they decide to take an hour out to y'know, enjoy the game contact Anabella straight away.

Hello again! Thankyou for all your replies, you sound like a lovely bunch of coconuts. I suppose I don't mind that everyone wants their pixels3x because after all, as a race we are programmed to eat sleep breathe and.. well! It's just you get so sad when it is the only reason people seem to talk to you inworld I am enjoying SL so much as it is! but I will continue to venture into the clubs! Any reccomendations would be loved much- currently I love club zero who are made of awesome but I should expand my horizons a little too. Adios for now x

Hey all :) I am quite young in SL terms, just a few months. I have tried to chat to many people in the world. Many want to hook up. Many others want me to join bloodlines. But alarmingly many more don't want to talk unless it is to gripe or complain (and then your IM box lights up like a pixel sunrise). This is for anything from wearing a fatsuit to asking vendors to update their marketplace info to a more accurate description! The forums are a similar story.. it seems such a large part of SL gameplay is trying to act like an angry authority who knows everything in that ever so condescending tone or griping over stuff. Why? Why are so few people in SL willing to just chat without wanting sex (Ok this is the internet I suppose) or to be angry? It's just a game! It's Nice to be Nice! Anyone else out there? :matte-motes-bashful-cute:

I'm fairly sure LL just didn't anticipate it being SUCH a big deal. They should learn never to underestimate the **bleep** retention of SL residents, or that griping, moaning and trying to sound like an angry authority about every slightest detail is such a huge part of the gameplay for many people.

Once when I was skydiving I fell through the roof of a building and became trapped in some shop. The shop had incredibly sexualised clothes for children sold and a photo studio inside. I did a bit of research into who owned it and it turned out the owner was a woman who had been banned for the same and the shop was being looked after by her friend. There were scores of people angry about her being banned but tbh i was so offended by the shop. Not because of the child aspect but because of how revealing the clothes were, the poses of the av pictures modelling them.. until SL users can learn to keep a lid on confusing adults with children I don't feel comfortable with child avatars. It's a shame that the child rp has been ruined for the innocent few but it has, deal with it. Secondlife has plenty of other things to offer.

As a customer I have definately ended up a loser from this- merchant says has been delivered, I can safely say it hasn't. Chances are they aren't trying to dupe you.

The best way to imagine it is; if you go shopping RL you might get a box with your item in but you wouldnt wear the box, you would put it down, take the item out, put it in your wardrobe (inventory) and then take it out to put on afterwards.

Friscolives: Search "sandbox". Go to one of the sandboxes. Put the box in front of you on the ground. Right click and "Open" it. Then "copy items to inventory". Now what you do is look for them in your inventory, drag the outfit onto yourself. You can take things off again by right clicking your avatar and selecting "take off"

I've got two newb questions so I hope it's ok to hijack this thread now the OP has been answered!! 1. In "about land, objects" is 'simulator prim usage" for the whole region or just your land? So if it says "prims parcel supports" is that the amount of prims available to whoever buys the land? 2. I know some people RP children in SL and I don't have a problem with that. But if I was flying around, found a shop with child AVs that were -just- sexually provocative enough to make me very uncomfortable, and found out that the owner has been banned for this but their friend has taken over the shop is there anything I could/should do? Or should I leave it?
