Not a big fan of Genus even though my alt uses one of their heads. I mean it's a nice product but I'm more used to Lelutka and I can't wait to get my hands on a free Lelutka head for my alt as well. As for the eye roll with Genus, I noticed it but my alt (and I in RL) do that a lot anyway 😁

I guess in the meantime Rachel wants to be able to walk around SL with something else than the system avatar and to enjoy her Maitreya clothes even if she can't afford Maitreya Lara at full price right now. The Lucy body is IMO a good (and cheap) alternative until the next Maitreya sales and that's what she's looking for.

Correct. The Lucy body can be used with most Maitreya clothes and Slink shoes fit best, though some Maitreya shoes also fit. The body is currently available for free as a midnight mania gift. It can take a couple of days before the target is reached but once you're registrered, your name remains in the midnight mania until the target is reached. It's not, Scylla. Some of their features are not as intuitive as with other brands IMO but they have a good support group inworld.

After trying to make a decent female ava and to discover the feminine side of SL for a few days (both still a work in progress), I've come back to Isaac and the first "reward" was to have a total stranger flirt with me at a sales event 🤣

This is what you can do with the Lucybody and the Genus head that Marianne talked about. I only had to pay L$197 for the body BOM relay. I'm using a free full body skin, free clothes from Scandalize (Scandals group free to join for clothes in the outlet and - if you run fast - for the advent calendar in front of the shop which was supposed to be gone on January 23rd but was still there on the evening of the 25th [SL time]), free hair and free shoes from one of the many freebies shops. When I first started experimenting with a female avatar, I was using the free eBody classic and its BOM relay, which are both free on marketplace (see Colleen's post above). But the Lucybody is much better in my opinion. And as Rowan already mentioned, the FabFree website is a great source of information for free or cheap deals.

The Scandalize group is set at L$20 right now but if you go to the outlet, you can join for free the Scandals group and get lots of free outfits by clicking on the Scandals icon next to them.

Double post 🙄 Meet Emma, my attempt at creating a female ava. I don't intend to play as her. I was just experimenting. I would be broke in less than a day if I were to play with a female ava given the broader and better choice for women clothes and shoes on SL.

As I saw your picture, I first thought Madonna had joined SL 😁 (no offense meant). Great ava.

I remember that dress. I used it long ago in a drag queen contest. 😁 You wear it a lot better. For sure.

😁 Thanks. Finding the right pose and positioning my ava in both pictures was a pain in the *** but it was worth it. In the first picture I hadn't realised that my ava was starting to show his tongue. I only saw it afterwards. And in the second picture, the tiger has probably just told something major but my ava won't repeat it. I swear that thing has a life of its own.
