I can get in now, but keep getting disconnected

I've managed to get online now but its extremely laggy.

Is anybody having trouble logging in? I was online then I was disconnected, and after that I can't log in at all. Just keep getting the message 'Login Failed'

I couldn't log in to my sim, but tried Cyclops then TP'd to my sim. Weird! Oh but I do remember the good old day when SL used to be down for a half a day (usually Wednesdays). Thought that was a thing of the past...but hey ho........I did however get a lot of housework done and now my home looks spick and span!

I thought that at first, its been a long time since it totally went down.

I do hope they hurry up. I'm getting so bored now I'm playing around with my profile picture. Its either that or housework .......... suppose it needs doing.

Same here. It took me a while to log onto this forum as well.

Thanks for all your replies. I've also banned him from each land plot now, so if that doesn't work I'll be raising a Jira. Thanks again Amanda

Hi Freya, and thanks for replying. There are no ajdacent sims and its definately not an alt with a display name. Its the first time its happend and I'm flumoxed how on earth he got passed the ban.:matte-motes-angry: Amanda

Over a week ago I banned an avatar on my sim as he was insulting people and making a general nuisance of himself. He is still managing to come on the sim even though I copied and pasted his name on the Region/Estate ban list. I could get an orb and get him ejected that way but whats the point of having a ban list if it doesn't work. Anybody else had this problem?

Hi Phoebe, sorry I didn't realise you had started this thread about the missing Regions from search. Surely it can't be the three of us (you, nikita and me) that are the only ones this is happening too. If anyone else is having the same problems please mention it here. If we keep this thread on top it might actually get looked into. Amanda

My support case was answered and I was back in search for one day. Then Poof it disappeared again! I've reopened my case ticket but I'm not feeling confident that this is going to get sorted any day soon.

Glad to hear they've sorted you out Phoebe & nikita. Unfortunately, my region is still not in search and my support ticket hasn't been answered yet! Hopefully they mght do something today.

I've just found this out because someone mentioned it in group chat. I've checked my 'show place is search is checked' and it is. Has this happened to anyone else? Sim Rookery: Second Life Server :matte-motes-angry:

Hello, I recently updated the SL viewer and the viewing screen is tiny. When I pull the right hand corner to enlarge it I just get empty space fill with psychedelic graphics. I tried the green + key as well and this just gives me almost the same empty space then completely locks up. This is also happening with the new Firestorm release. Has anybody got any ideas or any fixes that they could recommend. My Mac OS X is 10.6.8. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Amanda

Thanks for all your replies. I was using rechargable batteries until about 6 months ago because they just didn't last long (it was an old recharger!), but the main thing is that when the batteries go it is so fiddley to take the back of the Magic Mouse and I am really impatient. It was frustrating especially when in the middle of building something so i think wired is for me. Your suggestions have been great and I'm now going to get a logitec. Thanks and take care x

Hi, can anyone recommend a USB Mouse for Second life. I build a lot and have an Apple Magic Mouse, which I love dearly but is eating batteries for fun. I did have a Mad Katz R.AT. 5, but it broke after a year. Any suggestion would be gratefully received. Amanda :matte-motes-grin:

The IMs that I received also went to my email and are shown below, I've crossed out the name of the Avatar and most of the web address they sent me. The avatar whose name I crossed out and sent this hasn't been online since 13th August 2013, I checked all the groups they were in. I have sent out group notices, so maybe the messages below were sent in the same way you can with offline IMs. I'm a bit wet behind the ears when it comes to scamming methods, and usually if I do get scammed I always mute, but I thought this one was a bit different. Thanks for your replies, unfortunately this wasn't the case as the land (and sim) is owned by me and I'm the only one who has building rights on the land where I was spammed. So an object couldn't have been put on my land by anyone else.

Here we go, SL gets stranger and stranger. Today I was spammed in IM by an avatar who was in my group, they sent a link to bhavanipower etc. This avatar hasn't been online since August last year (I checked all the groups they were in). So my question is how did they manage to IM me? Anybody else have any idea? :matte-motes-agape:
