Does anyone remember the debug setting to reanimate the system trees?

I think LL has turned off Animated Trees, at least in the official viewer -- see https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SH-2711

They are certainly still there in Niran's Viewer, if you want to try that.

The actual debug setting is -- or used to be -- RenderAnimateTrees, but I don't think you will find it any more, at least not in recent official viewers.

From what I can discover, RenderAnimateTrees used to be the debug setting, it seems though that it is no longer an option in the new viewers. There is a tree slider under the Graphics Advanced menu, although I don't think it's the same thing.

Linden plants and trees no longer sway with the wind (performance improvement). Set 'RenderAnimateTrees' to TRUE to enable legacy behavior.
