When did the problem start; what changed?

You could try to lower your Graphics Settings in Preferences.

Visit an empty Region to see if your Viewer will stabilize.

Try an Alternate 3rd party Viewer or revert to the Viewer that was working if auto-update was enabled.

Use a wired connection, get a cooling pad.

Update the Drivers for your Graphics Card on your PC.

I'm out of guesses.

Are you getting any error messages?

I don't know either.  Just not enough information to make a guess.

Try launching your viewer but don't log in.  Under the "Help" menu click on "About Second Life".  Copy and paste the specs given back here.  Don't start a new thread to do that though.  Use the Options in the upper right corner of your post and "Edit" to add information or comments.

Nobody here can guess either. You have to give us something to work with.  Otherwise, you're asking a question that is like, "Why doesn't my car go?"  (Imagine the mechanic asking, "What car?  What do you mean, "go"? Did it ever "go" before? Do you see any diagnostic warning lights?  ....." )  You can add important information to your post by clicking on the Options link in its upper right corner and selecting EDIT.  Please do NOT start a new thread.  That only means that we have to start guessing all over again.
