Cant change shape of animals face help please????

i just made this account and i wanted to create an animal character. I changed the shape of the body but when i tried to change the shape of the eyes or anything involving the facial features, the avatar wasnt changing at all. i tried this on human avatars and it worked just fine. can someone please help? i wonder if this is just a bug?? :<

It is not a bug. You cannot change the faces of the default animal avatars like you can the human avatars.

The head you can edit though by right clicking on it and choosing edit.

Hello XoxRainbowGirlXox and welcome to SL Forums. You can't because it is a prim face. Like the tail and usually hands and feet of the animals. With other words they are like attachments. With right click --> Editing shape you can edit only the body no extra attachments.

Your animalhead is a primbased head. Its attched to your body like any other item and you can't edit it with the normal sliders, cause they are only for the shape, also I would say you shouldn't touch any of those headoptions if you have a primhead.

If you want to edit a primhead you have to do that like with any other item, clicking on it and then chosing the editoption.
