Avatar keeps going blurry

Every few minutes the textures on my avatar (not prims, just skin & clothing) goes blurry for a few seconds and then goes back to normal. I've been told to turn off HTTP textures which I did, but it hasn't helped. I was also advised to "rebake" which only seems to force my avatar to do what it's already doing all by itself.

I have a decent gaming desktop, I'm getting around 40fps on average and I have a wired internet connection, so I don't think it's hardware.

Is there anything else I can try or is this just "normal behaviour" for SL?

Did you clear your cache after disabling HTTP textures?

ETA: I recommend doing this both through preferences in your SL viewer and manually.

Its very normal for me. The textures on my avatar, usually clothing, likes to to go blurry for some time. It doesn't really bother me until I want some pics. Then I just rebake.

I had been having this same issue as well.

(Especially after switching to Firestorm).

This definitely resolved my issue, thanks a lot!  =]
