i have a samsung flight 2 and was wondering if anyone knew if there were a second life chat client for it

Viewers are not designed for specific computers, and certainly not for specific cell phones.  Take a look at the few limited applications available for mobile systems here >>> http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Third_Party_Viewer_Directory.  There are a couple that will give you text capability so you can send IMs, for example.

I use Mobile Grid and it works great for me however, remember that with the limited processing power of a mobile phone, you will not be able to see anything other than your map and your chat.
