How do I create a virtual room?

I would like to create a virtual prayer chapel that I could link to my web site - drop in a widget and when folks click on it they are taken to the prayer chapel. There they could leave prayer requests and also click on requests left by others. Might have some classic or world prayers they could read - like a collection.

Second Life is not constructed that way.  The only way people can enter Second Life is to create a unique account with a unique name and log in.  You can't enter SL via a link from a website.  This is the wrong platform for what you want to do.

It's quite simple, assuming that the people are registered as SL residents.  Use the Map API and designate your chapel as the destination.  See >>> http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Map_API for an overview and a link to the instructions for setting yours up.

ETA:  If they aren't SL residents, of course, all bets are off.... until you convince them to join.  :smileywink:
