Hi while trying to make a mesh jacket i downloaded my current mesh shape to OBJ (with Phoenix), adjusted the jacket and uploaded it to SL.

It doesn´t fit :matte-motes-sour:

So, i uploaded my mesh-shape to SL and it is not the same size than my avatar. The differences aren´t that big but enough to make the jacket go inside the body. Problem is, not all parts have the wrong size.

Anyone knows the factor to increase meshes before uploading them into SL again to have a 1:1 fit ?

Thanks, Monti.

SL uses meters, make sure your software uses meters too.

I use Blender 2.59 and I put the units to meters there. I have exported my avatar shape from SL and use it in Blender. When I design some clothes for that shape and import to SL the scale is exactly right without any adjusments to the scale.

The difference you are seeing when you compared your rezzed AV with your worn AV in SL is that it didn't reflect whatever skeletal morphs you have set on your shape in SL. The .obj files you exported from SL do not reflect skeletal morphs. However, your jacket should have scaled with the skeletal morphs once worn.
